The Batgirl backup that preceded the Green Arrow backup was a lot of fun at times. And it also had a rogue for Batgirl - the Velvet Tiger - that I would like to see again. I swear you're the anti-Slam. That Batgirl back-up was atrocious. I love the Jose Delbo art and the CRA-ZEE plots. Like the one where Batgirl turned into a snake-woman! That was awesome!
And the Velvet Tiger story, that was drawn by Trevor von Eeden!
I'll admit, I didn't like it in the 1980s when I first got those issues. But a few years ago when I filled in the holes in my Detective collection with the issues I missed first time around, I read them all again and I really enjoyed the Batgirl backups - some of them anyway.
The Green Arrow backup that popped up when Batgirl was taken out, that truly was atrocious.

I'm too lazy to read all the posts first, so it may have already come up, but he's my fave and this was so bad it was hilarious!

I've always kind of liked that costume... I have never heard of anyone liking that particular [Black Canary] costume. **raises hand** I like it. I think it's a perfectly good, simple design. It's problem isn't that it's bad, but that it was horribly dated the very first time it ever appeared.

Black Canary's original costume was one of the coolest designs, male or female, of all-time and I'm still baffled why anyone would even consider changing it, much less actually change it. It's perfect.

Remember flat top wearing Black Canary? Pretty much the same costume of corset and fishnets, but the flat soul boots and the flat top hair didn't work... Very much agree about the hair, but I actually prefer these boots to the floppy "swashbckling" boots they usually give her. In fact, they slap those clumsy-looking pirate boots on everyone from Conan to Captain America and I always think they look so stupid.

Like others have said before, the electric Superman costume isn't a bad costume; it's just bad for SUPERMAN.

Thor isn't my favorite character, but definitely one of my favorites. The mid-'90s were not kind to him.
Whenever someone says "awful superhero costume" that's the one I think of. "Let's put Thor in a bondage suit! Any extra sale is worth it in this day and age!"

Poor Sue Richards. In the 90s she had multiple horrid costumes...

Who on earth was responsible for that monstrosity?
So glad I wasn't following the FF or Marvel in general around that time, whenever it was.
