Black Canary's original costume was one of the coolest designs, male or female, of all-time and I'm still baffled why anyone would even consider changing it, much less actually change it. It's perfect.  Maybe because it makes her look like a cocktail waitress in a biker bar?  I do like it, but I much preferred her more utilitarian uniforms in the early Birds of Preys. |

Not a big fan of Alex Ross' design of when Bucky took over as Captain America during the Death of Captain America  That terrible metallic armor and the black pants.....gross. I always hated it because... A. It's just Ross ripping off the original Shield. 2. How does he bend over without stabbing himself in the crotch?  |

But that's what makes it cool. It's so unique. She can kick some villains ass, then high tail it over to the biker bar to serve those drinks.

Big Hank Pym fan, but this costume was not a fav. Of course, one stinker is not bad for a guy with as many identities as good ol' Hank! FYI, I liked the idea of "Dr. Pym" but that costume....oy!  |

He works better with the Dr. Who scarf and hat.  
Of course, he works even better without Al Milgrom drawing him, but that's a different discussion. |

This one is a double dog costume cover....  both the Magneto and the Wonder Man costumes are hideous... and this Magneto costume is nearly as bad...  -M |

I disagree. I liked the Dr. Pym, Two-Fisted Science Adventurer look. It was a mix between Benton Quest and Race Bannon. |

Fun Thread! I agree with Fabio-Thor and Iron-Cap.. those are pretty horrible. I'd never seen that Hawkeye one (that must be from the short early 70s period of Avengers I've never read)... so thanks for that  . I LOVED the Dr. Pym-Science Adventurer thing, so I disagree there. The Sue Storm one was terrible for HER, but not a terrible costume (for the 90s, that is) Some that no one has mentioned yet: Tuska Iron Man (with Nose):  I also never liked the Ben Reilly costume, but I think I'm in the minority there. |

I second, third and fourth Iron Man With a Nose. Iron Man's mask has always been one of my favorite designs and this ruined it. I'm glad this was long gone by the time I discovered the Michelinie/Layton/Romita Jr. run or I might not have liked it as much. (It's just that bad.)
