Tuska Iron Man (with Nose): The nose has never bothered me. Maybe that's because he had the nose when I started reading Iron Man. As a matter of fact, my first issue was the one pictured here, Iron Man #80! When Stark got rid of the nose a few issues later, I scarcely noticed.

I am not a fan of the nose, but am more forgiving of it because the Iron Man that filled most of my super-hero adventures had the nose...that would be this version of Iron Man... -M

I hate everything from the massive gloves to the little W. So bad.
Of course, the costume design is the least of this story's problems. As a writer, John Byrne was not good, except for a few FF stories heavily influenced by Silver Age storylines.
I liked some of his Hippolyta stuff, but his Wonder Woman was mostly LOL.

Huntress and Black Canary! So bad! Black Canary's giant leather coat was even worse.

Huntress and Black Canary! So bad! Black Canary's giant leather coat was even worse. Ed Benes, there you go. The bad costumes are to hide the fact that he begins drawing giant circular boobs with a compass, then makes a feeble attempt at conveying motion within his panels. The guy is sub-sub-sub Jim Lee, and I don't have much use for Lee's art, either. It astonishes me that his work is so popular.

I have a dear friend name Jeff who runs a Comic Book Store and he always telling me about the travesty of CITIZEN V a lesser known superhero from Marvel Comics. I couldn't believe my eyes when he showed me this.

Yeah, the only problem with Citizen V's costume is that heroes later tried to reclaim that identity from Zemo. I quite like the design itself and Patrick Zircher's adapted version to it later.

"Spandex" works in comics because an artist can make the outfits fit like a glove; capes, in particular, can function almost as if they had their own personality. No matter how fit someone is in real life, nobody could possible look as good as a Neal Adams Superman or Batman wearing the same material. It's just no physically possible. That's why the Captain America example above doesn't work for me.

Although I enjoy Justice, Kingdom Come and those big one shots for Superman, WW, Batman and Captain Marvel I do so almost inspite of the art not because of it as those don't look like super heroes to me, they look like people cosplaying as heroes.

I hate everything from the massive gloves to the little W. This is horrible in every way, shape, and form. That cape is just silly, being held on with the tiniest of clasps, and those gloves make no sense whatsoever. I'm not completely sure what year this was from, but even worse than the costume are Wanda's breasts. They're drawn in a tear-drop shape, which usually indicates "real" but they are sticking straight out to her sides, which would seem to indicate "fake". Beyond that, with the horrible proportions, someone could shoot her from behind, miss her back entirely, but catch a full 1" or more of her right breast.
