I just stumbled upon this animated short from DC Kids, celebrating the different looks Superman has had over the years, the films he's been in, and some of the character's biggest moments. It's a nice little celebration of the Man of Steel and thought it was worth sharing...

Thanks for sharing.
That video reminds me of the fact that I like Superman a lot (he's my favourite superhero), and I am dismayed that we're now in 2020 - and it's been seven years since he had a solo movie. With no solo sequel in sight. I'm one of 10 people on Earth who likes Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice. So I'm grateful for that. And Justice League. But let's have a Superman solo sequel - and one that does not feature Lex Luthor. I want Silver Banshee, Metallo, Titano, Parasite or Toyman in the film.

Thanks for sharing. That video reminds me of the fact that I like Superman a lot (he's my favourite superhero), and I am dismayed that we're now in 2020 - and it's been seven years since he had a solo movie. With no solo sequel in sight. I'm one of 10 people on Earth who likes Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice. So I'm grateful for that. And Justice League. But let's have a Superman solo sequel - and one that does not feature Lex Luthor. I want Silver Banshee, Metallo, Titano, Parasite or Toyman in the film. I liked Batman vs Superman and Justice League. Sure there was some problems but I don't get the hate directed at those movies. |

Superman III didn't feature Lex Luthor, but Ross Webster, a CEO, was very much like Luthor in many respects.

That's because Gene Hackman refuse to return to the series, under the Salkinds, after they fired Richard Donner. He wouldn't do any additional shooting for II, inder Richard Lester and skipped III. He only came back when the Salkinds sold it to Cannon, for IV. |

If you visit the UK, Michael, a pint of Guinness or Fosters is on me! Wait...people drink Fosters? Well, one person in the UK does. Me! It's palatable and very light to drink. Something like Guinness is nice, but it leaves you feeling very bloated. Foster's is like a stronger version of shandy. (Is shandy a thing in the US?). My job does not allow me to drink often, but when I do, it's usually Fosters. |

Some wanted the DCEU in the silly-assed, bloated MCU trappings, and ranted when that did not happen. |
