Many great covers here but also many that leave me scratching my head! But I shouldn't criticise too much since I'm one of those people who can't make up their mind long enough to choose a best cover by any of my favourite artists. For example, with Neal Adams, I think I'd lean towards the cover work he did for House of Mystery and things like that but I can't narrow it down much farther, so there are still too many to choose from.
I'd like to see that Howlers cover with a different colouring scheme - something to bring out a little contrast between the foreground characters and the background.
I tried to show the Adams cover for House of Mystery with the giant hawk crashing through the window, but I couldn't get the JPEG to save to imgur for some reason. Are you thinking of HOM 203?

The coloring is part of the reason I love this color.

So rather than just point out how some post don't rise to the level of "best cover". I thought posting a one that better meets the standard (in your own opinion, of course) So: This is the best Ploog Kull cover; Here is one of the many great Brunner Dr. Strange covers One of the great Colan Dr. Strange covers from his original run

Well, ok, it's Photoshopped, but IMO helps to connect the ordinary with the Hulk inside all of us.

What I think may be Jack Kirby’s best cover: Interesting choice. Not the usual cover anyone usually selects as Kirby's best.
