Aquaman if for no other reason than the Jason Momoa movie. I know a lot of people didn't like it, but man, what a fun ridiculous romp and entertaining take on the character.
Also Namor is a haughty douchebag. Screw that guy.

I wanted to like the Aquaman movie, and the trailer gave me hope, but other than some underwater shots it didn't work for me. It felt like an old "skinemax" flick with the nudity removed.
But I enjoyed Suicide Squad and Justice League, so clearly my taste is questionable.

the Sub-Mariner
Not that he's a favourite character, but I don't like Aquaman at all. That orange shirt!

I have the same view as Prince Hal, but he articulated it far better than I would have done.
Aquaman is more likeable. He seems to be more of a willing monarch than an unwilling one. He treats his duties in the same enthusiastic way our Queen Elizabeth II does. Whereas Namor, whilst serious and pensive, gives the impression it’s a burden rather than an honour.
So, Aquaman it is.

Aquaman. If only for this cover and the story in it. I bought this issue purely for the cover just because it wowed me so much. It's so simplistic yet there's so much going on in that cover. So much emotion. Then after reading it promptly sought out the issues that completed the story. This was a very early silver age purchase for me. And seeking out the other issues pre-internet is a very fond memory for me. So my liking of it is probably a mixture of nostalgia and actually liking the story itself. All that said, I own five Aquaman comics according to my app, so as much as I like this story it really hasn't motivated me to read more of Aquaman or watch the movie. And I also agree with impulse on Namor. Him being a pompous [expletive deleted] of the times he's been in other titles as well as the whole Sue/Namor romance in the 90's, I really have no desire to read up on him much.

Beautiful artwork on that cover, but that costume! It spoils the whole effect for me.

Which one is the favorite archer hitting the bullseye for you? Green Arrow or Hawkeye?
Both volatile, disruptive, emotional hot heads who are stubbornly over sure of not only themselves, but their beliefs and oh so willing to speak their mind. Both far too quick and rash making sudden decisions and both underestimated in their skills and worth. Both the annoying and arrogant jerk at times and yet both the outspoken and heart and soul of their respective teams.
Both played as jokes many times (boxing glove arrow anyone? Rust arrow? Really) in their stories while both also shown for being daring and outsmarting villains with their skills and smarts.
My fave is Hawkeye, the purple clad (my favorite color) carny loudmouth always out to prove himself and overcome his own personal demon of inadequacy. Brash, wild, charming, daring, childish at times but he will always be your wingman, your back up and your friend til the end. I was always hoping to see a Captain America and Hawkeye as partners book. Odd looking as it is, I have and always will love that original masked look. NONE of his costumes since the Avengers movies look good for a comic book and that garish carnival evoking medieval look suits Clint! Long may your arrows fly straight and true ye wondrous archer...

Which one is the favorite archer hitting the bullseye for you? Green Arrow or Hawkeye? Green Arrow just because of how damn good the Mike Grell run was. Oliver is a really good alternative to Batman when you play to his strengths

Hawkeye was a favourite from day one, back when I saw his mask for the first time in an issue of Jungle Action with no idea of who he was.
His joining Cap's kooky quartet as a brash and arrogant punk, followed by his eventual maturation into a reliable hero, was a nice example of actual character development. Plus, he was a rare case of a '60s superhero who was not a genius... and didn't even strike me as particularly smart! But he had a good heart and was loyal to a T.

I actually found Hawkeye 1st and then Green Arrow or it might be the other way around. It

Green Arrow. But Conner Hawke. Much like GL I came into reading DC titles as they were all replacing them with fresh new faces. And of what I have read of both Oliver Queen and Hal Jordan, I've never really cared for either. GA/GL by O'Neil and Adams is one of the rare few stories I like of either Queen or Jordan. And that's mostly because they played to each other's differences in the story, so it showcased their bad and good sides.

Green Arrow. Largely on the strength of Grell's work, though he would have won if you'd asked me before Grell's run began. If anyone ever did anything remotely interesting with Hawkeye then I never read it.

If anyone ever did anything remotely interesting with Hawkeye then I never read it. Please, please, please treat yourself to the Matt Fraction-David Aja series. It's a whole lot of fun and looks beautiful too.
