Pancakes, I suppose. Never ate waffles very often growing up; the family didn't own a waffle iron and only occasionally bought frozen waffles.

Which One for your chicken wings? Hot Sauce, Barbecue Sauce or Teriyaki Sauce?
While I do enjoy medium hot sauce wings occasionally, my preference is for that sweet and salty combo with Teriyaki. I can really munch down all afternoon with those tasty wing portions. In the heyday during10 cent Wing specials me and a buddy would go in ordering a 100 wings with 50 teriyaki. 25 hot/mild and 25 BBQ sauce. Couldn't try that today but it was fun when young.
And hot sauce wings MUST have plenty of Ranch Dressing for dipping. Mmmmmmmmmmm

Hot. There’s no sense in eating wings that aren’t hot. I lean toward a variety of sweet heat. When I’m at home I do a copycat of BWW’s Asian Zing that I kick up about five notches. I’m also a fan of mango habanero. I am not a fan of vinegary sauces so I’ll usually opt for anything before traditional Buffalo sauce.
My two boys and I usually go through about six pounds of wings during a session.
And ranch dressing is an abomination. Blue cheese is the answer.

I agree with Slam 100% no point in Wings if they're not hot. I greatly prefer boneless (too messy otherwise). Also agree Vinegar's sauces are evil, so cheap Buffalo sauce is not good. No blue cheese or Ranch or anything for me (I wouldn't eat either if you paid me).. just the wings .

I dislike the messiness of wings and for that reason prefer the sauce on the side, and I'm sure I would prefer boneless too, but have never actually seen any. Everyone's definition of "hot" seems o be different according to what they're used to, so I'd hesitate to say outright that I prefer hot over not hot. What I consider just the right degree of hotness might be very mild for a lot of people.
edit: didn't see the specific choices: of those three I'd certainly choose hot, though probably the "medium hot" if that was offered

Most assuredly hotness is to individual liking. I don't care for scar the esophagus hot. Prefer a milder mid range that's full of flavorful slow creep up on and open your sinuses. Carolina Ghost Reaper not gonna go near.Vinegar based is just yuck! Like my hot sauce cooked into the wing meat, not dripping off in an oil puddle.

The point of wings is to be messy and gnaw on bones, not eat toddler food.

By the way...boneless "wings" being chicken nuggets is a hill I am willing to die on.

If those are my three choices, I have to go with Hot or what is considered the "traditional" way of serving them. Actually had a half-dozen last night, as my younger daughter and I split an order as part of our weekly take-out meal.
To piggyback on Slam's comments: 1. Blue cheese dressing is the only way to go for wings. Ranch isn't thick enough and has a weird taste when combines with the hot sauce. 2. I will join you on that hill, my friend. Been calling those boneless monstrosities "nuggets" for years, and I will NEVER accept them as a "wing".
Now, my favorite wing sauce of all-time came from a place in Indiana, PA, which is where I went to college. The joint was Murphy's and the sauce was Irish Pride, which was butter, whiskey (Irish, naturally), and enough chunks of garlic to keep a six-block radius free from vampires all night.

I agree with Slam 100% no point in Wings if they're not hot. I greatly prefer boneless (too messy otherwise). I think it really depends upon the restaurant. After years of searching, my girlfriend and I finally found a place we can doordash that excels equally with boneless and bone-in wings. Boneless wings showcase the flavor better, whereas with bone-in, the quality of the meat and the quality of the sauce do a more nuanced dance with one another.

I don't think I've eaten a chicken wing with sauce on it in the last five years. When we get a whole roast chicken at the store I eat the wings because my wife doesn't want to bother with them.
That said, given those three choices I'll take hot sauce, and I prefer ranch to blue cheese.
Turkey wings are quite different. The meat is a little tough so pressure cooking is best. Then use the bones to make bone broth in the same pressure cooker.
