Chocolate chip. Oreos are fine, but they don't have a comparable weight/texture, which is really what makes all the difference.

Chocolate chip for me. Nothing wrong with Oreos, but they don't have the same appeal.
I agree that Hydrox was a bit better than Oreos back in the day.

(...) Especially with a glass of milk or a nice steamy brown cup of tea. (...) I'm a tea-drinker, which makes me an oddity in both the old home country (the US) and my current country of residence (Croatia), as both are fueled by oceans of coffee, but I have to say, I prefer a big, ice-cold mug of cola with cookies (or chocolate cake, etc.). Probably a good thing that I rarely partake of that particular vice...

Chocolate chip by volume, but I can throw down with some Oreos too.

chocolate chip; I never liked Orioles much.
Apparently I hate them so much, I can't even spell the name right!

I'm not much of an Oreo guy, but my wife picked up a bag of the new caramel coconut flavor Oreo (going for the Girl Scout Cookie flavor market I guess), and I like it. Not going to threaten chocolate chip cookies for the top dog spot, but they pass muster.

Will still eat them, just not more than two, possibly three, at a time.

By the way and since you mention it, the concept of "too sweet" even existing is one of the definite milestones of growing up. My kids would eat sugar out of a bowl with a spoon if I let them. Meanwhile, I got some maple bacon jerky as a gift and it was just ludicrously sweet.

For the record though, my parents didn't let me - I did that when no one else was around.

So Which One is your preferred potato? Baked, mashed or french fries?
All 3 have their particular tastiness but I tend to go for mashed, with gravy. Yum! Can mix your veggies into it (trick I learned as a child to mask disliked canned vegetables mom forced down us boys) like my preferred corn and Thanksgiving highlight is mashed potatoes with stuffing and turkey giblet gravy. Can make smooth with sour cream. Can have them buttery and fluffy or thick with tater chunks. Tasty!!!

I enjoy all three, but french fries are perhaps my biggest food vice (moreso than any sweet/dessert or snack type food) and will happily munch on fries with or without them being part of a meal. Sweet potato fries would also rank highly there (and I enjoy baked sweets and mashed sweets and sweet potato casserole as well, but in fry form, yum!).

Arrrgh, an impossible choice! Potatoes are the gods' gift to mankind, be they served mashed, as fries, puréed, as gnocchi, as chips or distilled into vodka!!! A purée made of sweet potatoes and celeriac is my current favourite.

Fries and tater tots are my weakness as well. Makes for great nibbling. Many a weekend will toss a bag of either into my little electric toaster oven, smother in cheese an snack on 'em all day long. And can't talk french fries without discussing how tasty they are dipped into a nice thick cold ice cream shake...yummers
