I hear that Kirby could often be found at his drawing table, pounding his fist while muttering, "I need an angle! If only the fans identified me something practical like belt buckles! Damn! Ah, well. Back to it!"

I think because Levi's wanted to market toward a young cool audience, not an old bearded wizard audience. "Wow, those button fly jeans look great on Alan Moore" is not something we're likely to hear in our lifetimes. As hilarious as that would be, I was thinking of actual talk show appearances like Liefeld's Dennis Miller appearance. He's been appearing on the BBC pretty frequently for the last decade or so now (notably HARDtalk and the various bits with comedian Stewart Lee).

thats how cool rob liefeld is
"they bring me brand spanking new pouches and I sign or draw on them"
you'd never hear John Byrne saying "they bring me deformed children or bizarre looking women and i sign or draw on them"

I love Alan Moore's current fashion choices. He looks like a cross between Saurman and Mr. Roger's here. Nothing would please me more than to watch a Alan Moore hosted children's show that surreptitiously sneaks in occult teachings and anarchistic ideology.

I really am enjoying the newest incarnation of THUNDER Agents, this time from IDW comics. But... Why?

It really stands out when Liefeld doesn't swipe.

Noman looks like he smells Dynamo pooping on Lightning's head. (Wondering if Rob even considered for a nanosecond not giving a runner the Hulk's physique.... lolz, I made a funny).

Iron Maiden's boobs look like they're hanging from her clavicles.
