I've never liked Deadpool at all Same here. A friend loaned me a fat collection of Deadpool comics a couple of years ago... my first exposure to the character. It was funny for about 10 pages, and after that, i was just numb to the nonsense. I don't know how anyone can be a "fan" of the character. It was like Ambush Bug (whom I love), but without the "biting the hand that feeds you" attitude. It was like reading page after page of Hostess Fruit Pie ads... nothing of consequence could possibly come of it. And, as much as I love Ambush Bug, it is ALSO better in small doses.

I think these types of books are bad to read in binging fashion. Same with DC westerns or War comics. They have the same stories.

Yeah, I LOVE Mad magazine.... but when I read too much Mad, back-to-back, it starts to sort of homogenize and fail to be funny. Like it's too much of a good thing .

It’s a formula. Aragones and Evanier always joked that Groo had the same 3 jokes.

For those who haven't seen it, comedy gold from the Wolverine/Deadpool trailer- that storefront is just perfect... -M
