I'm hearing that the 1st season will only have 13 episodes. Could be a good thing. As much as I like the Arrowverse shows, they tend to be padded for the 22 episodes. |

I'm looking forward to this. I did not enjoy Henry Cavill Superman. I was a fan of Smallville, but I thought they dragged it out too much and towards the latter seasons the show seemed to drop its premise and was basically a Superman show without the suit. I also watched Lois and Clark and enjoyed it somewhat, but it was definitely on the corny side, and the special effects looked dated even for its time. IF this show does well, it could potentially be the first proper modern Superman show with the right tone and special effects to do it justice.

I'm not sure where to posts this question - Has the WB/DC Crisis series been collected or available on streaming? I would like to see all the familiar actors doing their famous roles.

Not here in the USA. Usually the crossovers have been on either Artow or Flash season sets. I have Flash season 6 at home so will have to check after work to see if its included. I did record onto DVD the entire crossover onto 1 disc when it aired. Figured best to do that to be safe. Not perfect but at least have it to watch. |

The whole thing is a bonus disc as part of the Arrow Season 8 DVD/Blu-Ray. It can be streaming through Netflix and HBO Max (since Batwoman is streaming over there). |

Watched it last night. I really enjoyed it. As a father with one child still at home and aging parents and a hurting economy... Even though I don't save the planet I too feel pulled in so many directions. And life is constantly up & down... And when you are in those valleys it feels insurmountable getting back out.
And the premiere touched on so many good things too. Clark having exceptional parents. Getting married. Old fashioned American values. Small town USA. Family. Doing the right thing.
So yes this version of Superman at this stage of life I can identify with right now. I hope it maintains that family focus.
