Welcome to the All-Purpose WWE Mega Thread. This thread will house everything WWE related, You wanna post news...ya come here. You wanna post PPV stuff...ya come here. You wanna discuss RAW , Smackdown , NXT and anything else......it goes here. If your a WWE Network fan it goes here as well. There will be a bit of rules to this thread. It won't go above 5,000. The person who thinks up the best line , catchphrase etc etc ....will get to start the next WWE Mega Thread.
This starting line is based on everyone's favorite WWE Wrestler right now....Bray Wyatt,,,
Tonight was Extreme Rules as a PPV. I only watched til 10 and the Wyatt/Cena match. I have to admit Seth Rollins is insane ! The guy had the best spot of the night and doesn't care to go all Jeff Hardy and nearly kill himself at times.

I won't have much to contribute unless you mention Bruno SanMartino or Haystack Calhoun

You can actually discuss them . The WWE Network has them on there I'm sure. In fact the Legends Round Table discuss Bruno in a segment.

I can say it here. Drugs , Steroid use (70's and 80's)before the dangers became very well known and basic accidents. I mean Bam Bam Bigalow died when he ran into a burning building to save someone. Owen Hart died from a tragic fall. Its easy to let Nancy Grace proclaim the evils of shit , but quite a number have passed due to hard living and the choices and dangers they didn't realize what they were putting into their bodies then.

Wrestling died with WCW.
If they ever get all the old Nitro and Thunders on The Network, I'd consider getting it.

I'm totally ignorant about the world of wrestling but interested to learn some things about it. I have plenty of questions and when you can you could answer them. Again excuse my lack of knowledge 1-How many Federations exist and what are their differences 2-Is there a wrestler's union 3-Is wrestling officially a sport or entertainment 4-Do they do drug testing 5-What in your opinion is the greatest wrestling movie 6-Honestly now-are the results pre determined
Thats all for now

6-Honestly now-are the results pre determined Though I'm not a wrestling fan, a good friend of mine is. He helped me to understand that the fact that it's all scripted actually makes it more impressive to watch. It's easy to smack someone over the head with a chair. It's hard to do it just right so that he can roll with it safely and surreptitiously razor his forehead so blood splurts everywhere at the right time. It's not my kind of entertainment, but it IS impressive when you approach it from that perspective.

I didn't get to watch much of the PPV (Hotel internet was too slow), but WWE has really been pretty good lately. If you were a fan and left, this isn't a bad time to come back... other than the fact they they take 3 hours to do the 2 hour show (adding in lots of plugs for their app, their website the network, etc), that is. DVR is your friend.

Do they test for steriods currently? They claim they do of course. After the Benoit situation they started testing hard and demanding guys get off the shit. One example of a guy who dropped a ton of muscle mass before he signed with the WWE was Chris Harris. He was coming in and he knew they were gonna test him. There has been steroid pops. Randy Orton was popped a couple years ago and got a 60 day suspension and told his next positive would end his career in the WWE. They have 3 strikes as a policy. 30 days the 1st time. 60 Days the next and finally the 3rd is your last.

Pretty sure Bam Bam OD'd on coke and benzos. I was wrong on his death. But he did save children from a burning building in 2000 and suffered burns on 40% of his body. In 2007 he died from a heart issue and they did find cocaine in his system. He was 45 years old.
