8 of my 12 are now locked in *subject to change without notice, but the last 4 spots are still wide open with multiple contenders. I am having to remind myself that I am dealing with my favourites, and not the most popular or the most influential, or if they represent healthy relationships. (One of my already selected 8 most definitely isn't, and another is highly debatable, but they are relationships I enjoyed reading.)

Oh wow. I need to delve deep into this. But I think I have 5 locked in for sure. The rest I'll have to wing and create on the fly, which will make for more fun reads.
EDIT:
After a quick brainstorm of couples, I'm have 20 at the moment but I'm really going to go for off-kilter or 'oh yeah, those two' type of couple with some of these.
Also, what's the over/under on the same character having multiple partners showing up on someone's list twice? Also, how many Legion couples will be on the lists?

I've got a tentative 12. This assignment is well outside my wheelhouse, so I keep wondering if I'm missing some obvious, better choices, but this just might do. Tentatively, here are some stats: 5 DC 2 Marvel 5 other I have a tentative list but it’s so DC heavy is ludicrous. A guy could almost do a list just from Terry & the Pirates. Yeah, mine was pretty DC heavy myself. Though my "also rans" are more diverse, there are so many pairings from excellent DC stories that I just couldn't ignore them. I have a few of them on my whittling list where I'm almost positive that I'm on the only person that likes this couple. Tentatively my list is as such: DC- 3 Marvel-2 Others- 7 Of the DC and Marvel, a couple of them are sort of obvious but I might drop them and showcase more fringe comics and couples. I really want to push outside the box couples, although some of them might be obvious to others, but a nice spotlight on these comics. I'm always excited to see what everyone is going to list! Best time of year here on the boards! |
