Agent Carter was pretty enjoyable, though haven't seen ep 3 yet
Big Bang Theory unfortunately continues to mine a rich vein of lost-the-plot godawfulness

New season of BROAD CITY also starts tonight after WORKAHOLICS. Imagine if GIRLS was actually funny and the characters weren't quite so loathsome, and you have BROAD CITY.
I have to give a thumbs up to AGENT CARTER as well. And two thumbs up to the new series TOGETHERNESS on HBO.
I got kind of bored with PARKS AND RECREATION last season, but I like this time-jump to 2017 in this final season so far.
ARCHER is still pretty great, too.
And I don't care what anyone says, I still like GOTHAM. the biggest misstep for me so far was last week with Barbara and Montoya's prop coffee cups being so obviously empty. If you can't competently act like it's full, get the propmaster to put something (hot) in there.

Just binge watched season one of Penny Dreadful and for the most part enjoyed it. Looking forward to season two. My lady and I absolutely loved this and are impatiently awaiting the new season.

two thumbs up to the new series TOGETHERNESS on HBO Togetherness on HBO wasn't as funny as I was expecting. Kind of mediocre but it had it's moments so I might check out another episode.

It's not on now, but I started watching Green Wing. It's the funniest thing I have ever seen.

I checked out the first episode of Green Wing because of Michelle Gomez being cast in Doctor Who. I've only watched the series premiere but I enjoyed it and hope I can watch the rest of the series eventually.

I watched about half of "The Man in the High Castle" on Amazon Prime last night. I'm hoping to finish tonight. It's one of their pilots for new series'. It was a pretty interesting and well produced take on PKD's classic novel. I'm hoping they are able to continue with it.

New season of BROAD CITY also starts tonight after WORKAHOLICS. Imagine if GIRLS was actually funny and the characters weren't quite so loathsome, and you have BROAD CITY. I watched the entire first season last night, and was dying. That's a pretty strong hour CC has on Wednesday nights (although the Workaholics premiere was maybe the worst episode of the series).

The 12 Monkeys pilot was better than I expected. I like the casting of Zeljko Ivanek as Leland Frost. The paradox scene with the watches was pretty cool. I'm interested in seeing where the series takes it from here. Thoughts on Helix season 2 episode 1 "San Jose" Caleb looked creepy as hell in the gas mask especially at the beginning of the episode when he knocked out Dr. Walker. The new island setting is pretty eerie and I think they nailed the atmosphere well. I like that this season seems to be split between two time periods. "You've never seen Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid? What kind of an American are you?" made me laugh. Nice to see Steven Weber show up. Interesting reveal that Dr. Farragut is on the island hiding as a member of the cult. I found it free on Hulu. I have to pause sometimes because I'm laughing too hard. I think I watched it on youtube but it's probably better quality on Hulu. Thanks!

I'm interested in seeing where the series takes it from here. I thouhgt it was pretty good too. I actually watched the 2014 film Mr. Peabody & Sherman this morning for my Saturday morning cartoons and the paradox effects when the two Shermans touched each other were very similar to the effects with the watches on "12 Monkeys." The second episode of 12 Monkeys is sneaking online at syfy.com for today only. Helix was confusing as usual and I fell asleep but I'll try again soon.

The Venture Bros. special "All This and Gargantua-2" was glorious! I love how they were able to include so many of the characters without it feeling like they shoehorned them all in. Jonas Jr's sacrifice at the end was actually kind of touching. Interesting new status quo to start the new season. I think I'll have to watch it again just so I don't miss anything. Be sure to watch the Special Epilogue if you haven't already. It also includes a season 6 teaser.

Agent Carter was pretty enjoyable, though haven't seen ep 3 yet Big Bang Theory unfortunately continues to mine a rich vein of lost-the-plot godawfulness Agent Carter has been pretty fantastic, it's a solid action/period piece in the vain of the Rocketeer. Also of note, the second season of Black Flags aired and it's fantastic.
