The Americans is a great period piece about the Communist menace. It will probably be overlooked by the Emmys. On tonight's episode, the Communists' son interviews the FBI neighbor for a school report. The FBI guy cited comic books about the FBI as the reason he grew up to be an FBI agent.

I don't know if everyone's cable company has ME TV or not. MeTV is a digital subchannel that should be available via antenna in most markets. I believe it is a WCIU sister network owned by Weigel Broadcasting. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WCIU-TV

My wife and I watch Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Modern Family, and Big Bang Theory together, and we just wrapped up watching FaceOff. As others wrote previously, neither one of us likes the phony drama of most reality shows, so FaceOff appeals to us because the contestants are actually shown helping each other, supporting each other, and giving each other constructive feedback on their designs rather than trying to backstab and undercut one another in an effort to win.
I watch Supernatural by myself, as she gave up on it recently as being "no fun anymore." I tend to agree with her, but I'm almost 9 full seasons in, and as I've detailed in posts in the past, I'm obsessive-compulsive about completionism, so if they went 40 seasons to where Sam and Dean were old men hunting vampires in tricked-out wheelchairs, I would be watching it.
I'm also a huge fan of cooking shows and shows about restaurants on Food Network and Cooking Channel, and I watch Pittsburgh Pirates baseball and Pittsburgh Penguins hockey games when I can find the time.

The season finale of CSI didn't end in a cliffhanger and wrapped up (sort of) a long-running plotline. Is it done? I hope not.
Cei-U! I need my Elizabeth Shue fix!

My wife and I used to watch FaceOff, as well, and we really liked it, but a season or two ago the judges made a call that we thought was just so staggeringly unfair that it kind of ruined it for us. It's seems silly and frivolous, and, well, it is, but it's hard to watch a competition show when it feels rigged. Still, really cool show.
Right now, we are currently watching Agents of SHIELD, Resurrection, and Believe. The last because its' by Alfonos Cuaron, and we''re both big fans of his work. We're also working our way through Star Trek: TNG. We'd both seen various episodes and the movies but had never just sat down and watched through it. Amazon Prime is a wonderful thing, though.

I enjoy the following shows on a regular basis:
Blacklist- every episode is interesting, even if it is a bit confusing and convoluted and tries to cram as much as they can into an episode, I still enjoy it. Criminal Minds- best crime/murder/mystery show in my opinion Comic Book Men- wish they would focus more on comics but it makes me laugh and I like it. Pawn Stars- just like the stuff they show American Pickers- same reason as above True Detective- watched it and loved it but unless they get as actors as good as next season, it may be a disappointment Family Guy- it sucks now but I still watch it Mythbusters- love those guys Hockey Night In Canada (and any hockey- next to comics, hockey is my greatest passion and joy. To watch and follow, sadly I do not play.

I don't know if everyone's cable company has ME TV or not. This is probably my favorite channel right now. It's nothing but classic TV metvnetwork.com/Saturdays from 7pm to 9pm is Batman and Wonder Woman. But everything else on there is great. I watch ME TV, Retro TV, and Antennae TV. It's nice to know a lot of the old stuff is still around to check out when you have the chance.

CBR news article
Well ABC just renewed Agent of SHIELD for season 2 and gave a series order for Agent Carter, so there will be more Marvel on TV in the fall. -M PS looks like Flash, IZombie and Constantine also got series orders today, so plenty of DC on the TV too.

That Agent Carter pilot film on the Iron Man 3 DVD was pretty lethargic.

I watch Hannibal on Fridays. I have to see how the season ends. So far it hasn't disappointed. I was wary of how character dynamics would work, with Will behind bars, but they sailed trough that rather successfully.

I didn't expect what I saw last Friday. Quite disturbing, yet I don't want to look away.

The garden of mushrooms, the honey head… Last episode's post-mortem display, was "just" another one.

As someone who has worked in the TV industry for the past 20+ years (with a spouse who does as well), I must say you people don't watch nearly enough TV! C'mon, papa needs new pair of DC Blue Ribbon Digests!
We watch Mad Men, Game of Thrones, Parenthood and Homeland (I work for Showtime - shameless plug).
When my wife falls asleep, I watch Justified and Boardwalk Empire.
I also watch a lot of sports - this time of year it's mostly Mets baseball.
My kids tend to monopolize the TV, so there's a lot of WWE and Regular Show on in the house.
