This week's X-Files is another good one. Dropping the faux Alex Jones nonsense from episode 1 was the best thing they could have done. Last night's episode was soooo GOOD. It gave me soooo many FEELINGS. And the episode hit close to home for me because the situation with her mom was almost exactly just like MY situation with my mom. I was in tears. X-Files has never made me cry before. Until last night.

I think the show is incredibly well done so far. I will be sad to see it end in only three more episodes. I hope it gets renewed. I've looked at the first 3 episodes so far and am wondering...when did X-Files turn into a comedy? I need more conniving smoking-man and UFOs dammit.

The best of X-Files episodes were often the comedic episodes.

Last night's X-Files episode was WEAK. As a fan, I was NOT impressed. I want MONSTERS, not a twist on a typical terrorist scenario because the twist was even weak. The only redeeming quality of last night's episode was the use of a Tom Waits song, but even that seemed misplaced. I didn't care for that other red head actress. I never do when she's in something. And I want to. But her acting skills are lacking, and she over does things.
God, I'm a jerk.
Anyway, @murderess, Smoking Man was in the episode. For two seconds.

I enjoy Mulder, very much, but that went from wacky to stupid real fast.

If I have one criticism of the new episodes of X-Files, it's that they're too on the nose with their stories. The sense of mystery from the original just isn't there.
Did the government experiment with aliens? I guess so, because there they are carrying around a dead alien.
Do these kids reallt have psychic abilities or is there something else going on? Nope, they're definitely psychic and tossing people around with their brainwaves.
The truth used to be out there, but now it's just like... right over there or something.

Agent Carter and The Flash on both on the same night and I have juggling both shows at the same time. I watched Agent Carter last night and the same time record the Flash. I just watched both shows and enjoying them both on equal grounds.

I keep forgetting that Agent Carter is back. Marvel TV doesn't do much for me outside of the Netflix shows.

Reginald Vel Johnson is guest starring on tonight's episode of It's Always Sunny. This is exactly what I needed today.

I can understand skipping Gotham, but heartily endorse Izombie.
