So there's a season 4 episode of Orange is the New Black called "Doctor Psycho" featuring a fairly long - and thematically relevant - conversation about William Moulton Marston's (crazy) sexuality.
I do like these little nerd-nuggets in wider popular culture.

Game of Thrones season 7 episode 3 "The Queen's Justice" This episode felt a little slower than the previous one but it was still interesting. I really enjoyed seeing Jon Snow meet Daenerys and was glad to see he didn't bend the knee. It is kind of weird now that the audience knows they are half siblings and they don't. I also liked seeing Ser Jorah cured of greyscale disease and am curious where his story will go if and when he reunites with Daenerys. Another reunion this week with Bran returning to Winterfell. I'm kind of sad to see Diana Rigg's character get killed off. Her scenes with Charles Dance earlier in the series were some of my favorites.

I thought GoT worked really well last night because of its slower pace, Jesse. It's hard to go at breakneck speed episode after episode, because then it just seems like one unending sprint, but last night's episode reminded us again that this is a marathon, and that when you run one of them, you need to pace yourself or else burn out quickly. Wrapping up some dangling plot points from previous seasons while doing some nice character development means that we can ramp up in an episode or two, as we only have four more this season

Game of Thrones Season 7, Episode 4 "The Spoils of War" I thought Arya's reunion with Sansa and Bran was touching and liked seeing the Starks together again. It's kind of crazy seeing how much time has passed. I thought the cave paintings were interesting and wonder if that history will come up again or in the prequels. Arya and Brienne sparring was exciting to watch. Jon Snow seeing Theon Greyjoy made for a tense meeting. Daenerys flying into battle on the back of her dragon with a legion of Dothraki was epic and I was glad to see another episode end with a battle sequence. I like that there was sort of a cliffhanger and I'm curious about the fate of Jaime Lannister.

I thought this season of Silicon Valley was funnier than the last one especially the finale. [...] The Leftovers continued to be one of the more interesting shows out there. I enjoyed this final season and thought they wrapped things up well enough but I'm kind of sad to see it go. Agreed on both fronts, although I must say that all seasons of Silicon Valley are gold.

Game of Thrones season 7 episode 2 "Stormborn" I like how thing are coming together so far. The giant dragon heads looked really cool. The Samwell scenes continue to be some of my favorites and the special effects makeups for Ser Jorah's greyscae disease were gruesome. Arya's reunion with her Direwolf was a bit sad. I liked that they ended with a battle and it seems they aren't wasting any time this season. That was a hell of an ending. I little bit hasty, but ok.

Best episode of GoT in quite some time IMO Don't EVER cross Cersei! If you're talking episode 3, it had great dialogues.

Diana Rigg's character will be missed, but it's not like we'll have much time, for the kind of scenes she excelled at.

Didn't Game of Thrones have its specific thread around here? Seems odd.

Right up there with the original Twin Peaks as my favorite non-comedy TV show. We were all crazy about it when it originally aired, at college, but I'm watching it again now, to prepare for Season 3, and it feels kind of dated. More of a parody than anything else, most of the time.

But I have to say, if it ends up being Jon Snow, Tyrion or Daenarys sitting on the throne in the end...I'll be disappointed. Would be an incredibly predictable ending to a notoriously unpredictable show. The problem is that if it isn't either Dany or Jon, then it seems too unpredictable and done only because it's something no one expected. I'm rooting for Sansa and Littlefinger.
