I give you Justice League #42. . which for (new) God knows what reason, they redesigned Lightray and Orion. With Lightray, it's mostly the hair, isn't it? The costume doesn't seem too drastically changed, without looking it up to check.
But Orion, yeah, pretty horrendous. Also, besides the ill-conceived costume redesign, another thing that always bugs me is how everyone seems to feel it necessary to put a big frown on his face, something that is not at all characteristic of the Kirby Orion, who is usually drawn as serious and impassive rather than scowling and angry.
This is the kind of thing that makes me suspect that most creators, both artists and writers, are full of it when they talk about how much they revere Kirby's New Gods work: because nothing they produce themselves featuring those character shows any evidence that they've read it with any degree of appreciation or even the most basic attention.

Oh heck yes…I don’t want to live in a world where Superman doesn’t wear his underwear on the outside. OK, I was wondering what made this one any different to the usual costume . But now you say tat, it looks lie he is still wearing the outside trunks, they're just not coloured in.

Oh heck yes…I don’t want to live in a world where Superman doesn’t wear his underwear on the outside. I'll admit, there are good designs for trunkless Superman costumes out there. But the raison d'être for putting him in one has caused me to dislike them on general principle.

Are those things in her mouth braces? I think it's supposed to the mic for a comms unit.

I don't know how folks feel about this one...it's not terrible, but her "classic" is so iconic I never really warmed to it: I don't mind this one, or the Perez designed one that followed it (although it is bit too generic superpose for my taste, and what the hell was with that lobster on her head), but I'm always going to be a top hat, tails and fishnets guy.
However, none Zee's other costumes were as bad as this thankfully short-lived monstrosity. Because nothing says 'sorceress' like dressing like a biker chick.
And Esteban Maroto's original art shows that originally she wasn't supposed to wearing anything under the vest. (I'm guessing editorial got antsy and had the tee-shirt added during production.)
Classy! Not too mention plastering Zs all over herself, just in case she forgets her name.

I get that some people do not like Power Girl's cleavage window (those people are wrong, by the way), but does that really justify this?

I love Maroto as an artist, but this is just "trying too hard" to be edgy/cool. I feel at times like "modern era" comic books (which has now become a decades long term) are like the kid in school trying so hard to be cool and inadvertently making themselves much more the opposite.

I prefer Power Girl's original costume by far, it's a total classic. You also have the New 52 version that is just confusing to me: I will confess though that I kind of liked this one in Earth-2 Society: And all of this brings back to mind Supergirl's costume from this time, which was...different.

This design (to use the word loosely) just screams 90s, doesn't it? And she seems so proud of it. Are those things in her mouth braces? Are those things in her mouth braces? I think it's supposed to the mic for a comms unit.
If the rest of the outfit is any indication, it's probably a high-tech inflatable ball-gag.
