Anyone getting Error 1050 messages lately?
Since it says we're temporarily banned, it's kind of scary!
(Reloading seems to solve the issue, but it keeps happening randomly).

I was getting a different error message for the last hour, or if I tried to go form the Proboards dashboard I would get the angry bear message saying the server had issues. Nothing about being banned on either, but both citing server issues.

I'm getting the same error. If you look up what it means, it's an automatic restricting of access because too many folks are trying to access the server at the same time. Sounds like a DDoS attack. I'm letting proboards know right now, but I suspect they are already aware.

Literally just happened to me a few minutes ago. Closed the tab and reopened a new one and it worked. Also changed my VPN server as well to make sure that wasn't the problem.

I was briefly unable to connect. I wish the country conducting a war of aggression and/or the fans of celebrities involved in a libel trial could just keep to themselves and leave other people alone.

My getting the message happened to coincide with my changing my antivirus software (in an attempt to prevent a re-occurrence of the recent incident where Avast blocked me from this site) which left me really confused about what was going on.

Yeah, I had this happen to me briefly last night (my time), but wasn't too concerned, because I often (about once every week or two) get a message like this when I try to access the site or (more frequently) when I hit refresh while I'm already at the site:  I'm assuming what everyone else saw yesterday looked more like this, though:  |

With proboards hosting so many communities, it stands to reason that one comes under a DDoS attack every now and then. But this one is definitely different. |

Yeah, the bad gateway warning (error 502) was the one I was getting for about an hour last night.
