Adding my naked bias for CBCS as my dealer is associated with them as a witness of signatures for signed books I did not know that ... Thanks.

Would you recommend a trade paperback collecting Jack Kirby’s Mister Miracle issues?
There’s one going for 30 dollars right now, which is a decent price.

I think Kirby's Fourth World is one of the greatest things anyone ever did in comics. And more specifically, I think you would find it interesting to look at in detail if you haven't done that before, given your interest in grand cosmic stories on an epic scale. Kirby was apparently an admirer of Druillet and whether that influenced him directly or they were just into some of the same kind of things, you can see some of that in the Fourth World - always from kirby's very different style and perspective of course. Ideally the New Gods and to a lesser degree The Forever People should be read as well to get the full picture.

If it is the one DC just put out to coincide with Tom King's Mister Miracle series, then yes I would recommend it. I picked it up and it is a solid collection of the stuff (I had the 2 volume b&w collection DC did years ago but grabbed this one because it was in color and had all of the Kirby run in one volume). -M

After a big dissapointment at last weeks NYCCC for buying comics, I went to a show in NJ and went to town. In all, I bought 65 comics , one TPB and one HC for 54 dollars. Most of the purchases were 50 cents. These are the highlight- The Alan Moore Hc was 10 dollars and the Phantom Stranger Showcase was 6 bucks.

These were in rough shape but it's good reading material. How could I turn down a Stan Lee/ J. Buscema Superman ?

Yeah, I just discovered that I have a Gen 13 3D version that still has the glasses. I’ll read the Superman book soon with it.
