Wow. Marvel will put anything in an Epic Collection. The goal of the Epic line is to collect the entire run of all the major Marvel titles. So yes, some eras from books like FF, Avengers, Spider-Man or what have you, which are otherwise uncollected, will get Epic collections, which is why the series are numbered, even if they are not released in chronological release order. If you look at that volume of FF, it will tell you a volume number, which places it within the complete run of FF. So not "anything" will get an epic collection, but all parts of their long-running titles will eventually get Epic Collections, even if they are considered bad runs in the eyes of a lot of collectors. You can't get a complete run of a title in collected editions unless you collect the bad runs in the title as well. That's the downside of both completionism and long running titles. Any title that runs long enough will often have as much bad as good in its run, but competionists have to have it all no matter what the quality. -M

I haven’t read much of Cassandra Cain Batgirl but I do like the very few issues I have. I ended up with 33 issues of Batgirl (the first 33). My mother used to read this comic (along with the Birds of Prey and Catwoman) and I always wanted my own copies of Batgirl. They are quick reads without much dialogue (well, these first 30 or so anyway, I don't know about later issues), but that makes them stylish and fun. It is a pretty original series. I'm on vacation and visiting more comic stores. I couldn't leave these behind for $20 each.

They have more. I realized when I got home that I didn't buy the one I *really * want. And there's at least one other I want to get as well. I'm just not as familiar with these as I should be and didn't realize I left behind the one I need!
My wife says we can wait for the store to open tomorrow and go back for them before we leave for the next part of the trip, so if I can get them I'll be posting more good stuff soon.

I ordered a group of Bronze Age issues of Lois Lane off eBay.
I think it was 108, 109, 122, 123 and 128. All Rose and Thorn issues. And a couple of the Lois’s roommates issues.

Be sure to post them when they arrive! There are some great Lois covers in that stack.

Hey guys, got 23/27 issues of The Hulk magazine in very high grade (all 9.0 or better). I'm really glad to get all of the The Moon Knight issues (#11–15, #17–18, and #20, featuring some of Bill Sienkiewicz's early work starting in #13). Closing 2021 with a bang!

We went back. These were more expensive, but still a good deal, so I had to get them. Obviously, as an Archie fan, I had to have Mad #12 for my collection!

But I HAVE read Starchie a bunch of times. So when Archie is mentioned, the first thing to my mind is that Starchie is hilarious.

EDIT : There was a french magazine in Québec called Safarir (like Mad or Cracked) who did an Archie parody in the 90's. You might need it for your collection! You can see images of the parody here : www.ebay.com/itm/383117873050
