God help me. I ordered a copy of DC Super Stars #10, the one with the baseball game between the heroes and the villains.
You'll enjoy the extra cheeeeeeze in that one.
EXTRA CHEEEEZ PLEEEEZ!

Picked up some dollar books. Crimebuster made me get this for speculation purposes. I might have bought this twice.

Sgt. Fury is one of those books I never specifically set out to collect but whenever I come across copies in very nice shape, I pick them up. And after repeating that process over the past decade or so, I now have almost 40 books, all pre-1972. The silvers are still fairly cheap even in high grade.

I agree. I thought that Pitt was one of the better titles in the early Image days.

Captain Savage and Sgt Fury have been big collector books I got into from Marvel's Superhero era. I've been into those and the DC books series collections. I'd love to have a run of Weird War Tales.

I'm still working on a complete run of Weird War Tales-- currently I have 93 of 124 issues, including all of the keys, so it's just a matter of locating the remaining 31 oddball issues.

In lieu of not attending WonderCon this weekend (quarter end closing at work), I had the nice surprise yesterday of more of personal book binds come back from the bindery and now on my book shelves. 1. The Crusades: Collects the Vertigo series. 2. Vertigo Las Vegas: Collects Nevada (Steve Gerber/Phil Winslade) and Proposition Player (Bill Willingham/Paul Guinan) 3. Trinity Angels: Collects the Acclaim series from Kevin Maquire 4. The Marvel Universe by Kevin Maguire: Various minis drawn by Kevin in a nice omnibus 5. Jonah Hex: Collects all 3 Vertigo minis by Lansdale, Truman and Glanzman.

Those distinct HCs posted by DubipR are awesome. He also guided me on how to proceed hehe
Not remotely close by comparison, but I picked up these 2 HCs for 12.95 (reg retail about $55). The BW is a variant, 800 copies printed so I consider that a nice grab.

EXTRA CHEEEEZ PLEEEEZ! I got DC Super Stars #10 in the mail over the weekend. It’s some super spectacular DC super-hero silliness. My big complaint is ... Where’s Grodd? How could they have a hero vs. villain baseball game without Gorilla Grodd? IT MAKES NO SENSE!!!

Ah, yes. DC Super-stars #2 is one of the earlier comics I ever had. I get such a warm rush of nostalgia every time I see that cover.
