I've been on fire with the pick ups! My LCS got a private collection of silver age Marvel. I'm good friends with the owner got to look through the 4 short boxes. I pulled a few books for the future to purchase (including a FF50) but pulled the trigger on this Daredevil 16! So happy I got a pretty sharp looking copy.

Got this today. I consider it a minor key and I've loved this book since it first came out when I owned it. Rick Jones becomes part of his continuity and the powerful Nega bands makes its first appearance. My only quibble is that the seller rated it as a 9.0 and it's a 7 at best. Edit: It was sold as a 4.0 , My mistake. There's a line in the lower right side of the cover , otherwise it's a solid copy.

I mentioned it recently. Silver Age and early Bronze Age are severely over-graded. From todocoleccion, paid on the 13th, sent on the 15th, received on the 17th via Correos: At 30€ a pop, they look cheap looking at the price they are getting out for now (50€).

Bought on the 11th, shipped on the 16th, received on the 21st via UPS. 8th Walt's Comic Shop order: Liked the new colors on the SM one, they actually match the content. The other one assumes Taschen won't publish the issues I want, we'll see about that. Finally completed the first 7 volumes.

I scooped up The Wrath Of Odin and To Wake The Mangog as soon as they re-released it last year. Hoping When Titans Clash gets a republishing sometime before I wither away

Not sure if this is an impertinent question, but how old are you? In any case, The Wrath Of Odin is the good one. The early issues in When Titans Clash and the later issues of To Wake The Mangog aren't up to par, but these trades are the cheapest way to get all the good issues in the middle. For the FF, the first two omni cover the essential 60 issues, and for SM a combination of omni and epic did the trick for me.

The early issues in When Titans Clash and the later issues of To Wake The Mangog aren't up to par, but these trades are the cheapest way to get all the good issues in the middle. I think the only problem I have with Wrath Of Odin is that it has the conclusion to the Tales Of Asgard backups, which I really did enjoy. It's been a while since I've read To Wake The Mangog, but I do remember enjoying it. I mostly want When Titans Clash because it's when Thor started getting really really good

33? What was the withering away business about then? Generic mortality?
Tales Of Asgard is a problem, it started getting good before the main event did, which means some tales aren't even in When Titans Clash, but the first one is hideous, I'm not getting that one for more than 5€.

I was more so making light of how long it takes them to reprint Epic Collections
And yes, I would not touch the first Thor Epic with a ten foot pole. Though I do wish Marvel would do a proper re-release of the complete Tales Of Asgard, but without the hideous digital coloring

Indeed! I REALLY want them to hurry up and do X-Men: Proteus (which costs over double cover if you can find it)... instead they re-printed Lonely are the Hunted (which is readily available at a good deal)

This is the final piece of the puzzle. I have the entire 4 book series covering the entire Emma Peel WW era. I have to add that it only cost me 2 dollars.

I purchased a 3.5 CGC copy of Detective Comics #205. This is the one with the origin of the Bat-Cave! Carter Nichols!
Also, Roy Raymond, Captain Compass and Mysto!

The Duck Tales lot I mentioned getting over in the auction lot arrived form Lonestar today, as well as the handful of dollar bin books I picked up to fill out the order and make the shipping worthwhile. First, the Duck Tales lot I won in the auction, #3-10... the promo issue that lunched the Waid/Ringo FF run, I used to have this a long time ago, but I love Ringo's stuff so decided to get it as part of the order filler... four issues of CrossGen's samurai series "The Path" that has always intrigued me... and finally, not classic, but an issue of the previous Scarlet Witch series-I really liked this series when I read it digitally, and I love the striking covers David Aja did for this series, so I have been pickking up issues when I find them at the right price... that's it for tonight. Tomorrow I am headed to my first convention of the year-The Champion City Comic Con spring edition, where I will also be picking up the box o'comics I have been piling up form Jesse's Gem City FB group auction, so I will have plenty of goodies to post after the show. -M
