As soon as I finish this post, I'm logging off, packing up my computer and heading north to spend the weekend with Cei-U!. You kids behave, you hear?

trying to survive a 39.9°C fever, migraine and global bodyache since I woke up. It's very strange since I haven't been in contact with anyone in the past 3 days, expcept my mother who told me she's feeling super fine. I hope my body is fighting intruders and not the other way around... (shit, even typing this was difficult)

I just died a little bit inside.

I got my nose veins cauterised when I was a kid, so I can't have those anymore, but the fever might allow me to get in touch with ths snake entity and bargain with it, beware kids! ;-)

Kill them, kill them all! Kill every last one of those mother-loving serpents! -M

Hahah, yeah, well, where I live there's quite a lot of snooks. They are peaceful and interesting to watch in the summer, on a hot stone under the sun, of swimming in the lakes or sea (baltic sea isn't that salty), with their glowing orange eyes under the water. Bananas are much more dangerous IMHO....

Where I'm at rattlesnakes and cotton mouths are all I'm cautious of running into. Otherwise they make better pets and/or friends then most humans or animals.

They only want to get close and gain your trust so they can kill you and take replace you with one of the their shapeshifting brethren! -M

Where I live, the land is flat, and the animals and insects are not really poisonous. I am mostly safe. Except for sting-y bugs in the summertime.

Having snakes as childhood pets and into adulthood, I guess I don't see them with an irrational fear. I greatly respect venomous snakes like rattlers, but I don't fear them like I do spiders. But like spiders, they are easy for fiction and media to demonize as evil or all dangerous cause they are not cute and cuddly like most dogs and cats.

Yes, and see how MRP intentionaly omited snakewomen in his list of no-no's? Deep down he knows. Maybe he's concerned with the phallic implications? On that note my fever is down to an acceptable 38.4° and the very thought of solid hot food doesn't revulse me anymore.
