Tom King I had a bad initial bout with trying to read Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. Did not feel like Supergirl even remotely (which is too bad because I kind of liked the general idea of the story). Maybe I need to give him another chance and read some more though if he's well-regarded overall. I like Tom King, but his readers can't be too attached to previous characterizations of anyone; sometimes he uses the characters he's given to tell the stories he wants to tell, like "What if Red Sonja were Supergirl?" I've sampled most of his work and haven't liked any of it. I keep trying it, trying to figure out why everyone else thinks he's so great.

I still think Stan Lee is hip even though it's 2023. Stan was never hip, he just played a man who was.

Honestly, these days I wouldn't recognize "hip" even if it wore a big name tag that said "Hello, I'm Hip."
Cei-U! I summon the cluelessness!

I keep hearing the words "hip hop music" so it sounds like whoever makes this Hop Music must be the hip people these days. Unless there's the hip hop music and the other hop music that isn't hip.

Bendis was hip for about 5 minutes, with AKA Goldfish; but, recycling David Mamet dialogue only goes so far.
If you mean hip, as in speaking to the youth of today, then I would say Raina Telgemeier.

Only to 10 year olds. Maybe Kami Garcia if you're going there or Claudia Gray (though she was more the it thing a few years ago)

Far out guys, what your saying is groovy. I mean I dig it the most. But I don't read enough of the new jazz to grok what cat or chick is the most. Peace.

I don’t understand your generation’s slang. I look for boss books by rad creators. With a little extra vibe to them.
