There are dozens maybe into a hundred characters available. The problem is - which ones are your favorite ? Wolverine and Deadpool are major players these days But I don't like them in the comics. Do I choose them just to fill a list ?

I think I have 12. For sure if I break everything up into separate runs, e.g. Agent of SHIELD into the Kirby and the Steranko runs. But right now that would leave me with 13, and I'd prefer to be consistent and either list everything as separate runs or just have one entry per character.

I thought the initial explanation was pretty clear, but that doesn't mean this has been easy. I've managed to come up with 13. I usually like to have more alternatives than that, so I'm still working on it.
And as I type that, I think of #14. Yay.

I had 11 shoo-ins and a ton of runners-up. #12 will probably be selected on account of not being too obvious.

I've got my tentative 12, but I don't think I've ever had a year where my original list has ended up being exactly what I finally post.

I'm trying to steer clear from the biggies like them. A lot of my list are modern runs of spin-offs. Just trying to make things fun and showcase books that I think I'd be the only person to post. |

I think I have 12 but I am not sure if a couple of them are going to qualify for the wonky criteria, but I am just going to post them and if they don't count in the final tally, oh well, as long as someone enjoys the post and we all have fun, that's all that matters.
