Did he ever get back to ancient Egypt to find his lost girlfriend? The series only made it to issue #15 before being cancelled, so I suspect not, but I never actually read that far. Some of those later post-Acclaim acquisition books were harder to come by back in the day.

Gulacy did work for Valiant? Geez, how am I first learning that two if my favorite artists (Gulacy and Breyfogle) both did work for Valiant?? It was near the end, when Valiant tried hard to ditch its "house style" to become more like... well, like comics from the '90s. Didn't last that long. I wish I had the Gulacy Turok issues, but I don't care for the Bart Sears X-O. There's only a few of them - I think two stories, each of 2 or 3 issues. Last I looked they weren't expensive as back issues, though that may have changed. And of course shipping charges make everything ordered online problematic now.
I see there was another '90s Gulacy miniseries from Valiant: The Grackle, I think a crime series of some kind. Can't recall much about it now other than that I liked it at the time and thought there should have been more of it..

I believe I still have all those Gulacy issues, including the Grackle which was black and White. I always wondered if Gulacy had a very high paying gig somewhere else other than comics. His output after leaving Marvel was minimal.

His output after leaving Marvel was minimal. Doug Moench has repeatedly said in interviews that Gulacy complained that penciling was killing his back and that he also hated working under deadlines. It may just be that he couldn't stand working in comics (almost literally).

Looks like Valiant isn't out for the count, after all: Curious what approach Alien Books will take. Not excited by the art, but maybe they're targeting a more YA audience this time around? Also, who's on the top left?
