You could create a Facebook page for the forum. That way people can promote it by "liking" it. The Facebook page could also serve as a backup channel for information in case the board ever goes down. Cei-U! began an invitation only facebook group similar to this purpose. However, I would strongly recommend that we NOT create an official facebook group tied to this site because that then empowers anyone browsing this community to learn a whole lot more about you than you might want them to. I'm bound to upset some folks by the simple nature of my now being the site admin; I do not want them knowing where I live and having access to pictures of my family. |

Images in .sig files are just the worst. The absolute worst.
It's obnoxious, breaks up the flow of the page, can take forever to load, etc.
If there's an image you just absolutely need posted every time you post -- that's what your avatar is for.

I've never used a signature. I usually don't pay attention to them. But images in banners in them are obnoxious.

Just bland artwork that didn't jive with me...just a shambles. But I do understand Robbins in terms of something like how Roy specifically wanted Robbins for The Invaders; he wanted a Golden Age artist on the book to give it that feel. Just didn't give with me a well. |
