Think we are mixing cover and release dates, again. Mike's shows Bozo as April 1992 cover date and the Torchy comic as March cover date. They were released in the months cited. Fine by me, either way.

This is the only info I found on Mike's:  Mike's list only the year for the cover date, but the on sale date as February of '92. |

This is the only info I found on Mike's: Mike's list only the year for the cover date, but the on sale date as February of '92. I use the Newsstand Feature, with the precepts set for publisher-Innovation, sort by Cover Date, and then the month and year. This is what I get for items cover dated April, 1992.....  You can see that it shows the Bozo comic. If I set it for On Sale date, it shows a different set of books. My guess is he either used the convention to display the covers on the Newsstand function, or didn't translate it through to the individual listings. In looking at my digital copy of Quantum Leap, Innovation is using cover dates for 3 months ahead of the release date, as was tradition for newsstands. They did not use months for one-shots, though, which is probably why Mike only has the year listed on the individual page for the comic and the on sale date. |

I use the GCD which lists the books by cover date.
