They could have done a crossover with this version of Kraven and Marvel's swamp monster: "Man-Thing vs. Man-Thong!"

Me thinks the lady protests too much... I will read it. It just probably won't be my favorite thing. I wouldn't worry too much about it. I'm a big fan of Kraven but I've never read "Kraven's Last Hunt." I wasn't buying very many super-hero comics when "Kraven's Last Hunt" started but I do remember that it was kind of a big deal, heavily promoted, posters, all over the place. I flipped through the first issue at the comic book store. Nice Mike Zeck art. (The art is the reason that I sometimes check the San Bernardino County Library system to see if it's available yet.) But the storyline didn't really appeal to me. I hadn't read Spider-Man for a long time. I never warmed to the black costume. I didn't like the way Kraven was portrayed. If I could get it from the library to read it for free, I would be happy to give it another chance. |

Come to think of it, does Torment from McFarlane's Spider-Man have Kraven in it? I do remember Lizard and ... ...what was suppose to be Kraven's daughter as the antagonist, if I remember right. |

I've never read Sandman I take it you wanted to, though? Well...to be honest, I have come across Kirby books like Sandman, Kamandi, OMAC, New Gods etc...but kinda hemmed and hawed when it came to actually opening them up. I think my favourite Kirby books are those with the more popular super-hero types. |

Went to get my weekly books from the LCS and saw these 2 books that I needed so I grabbed them. Got them cheaper than others would because I frequent there a lot and the more you buy the more you save. 28 out of 700 to go.  I also put in an order for the Complete Shield omnibus that I will purchase with the rest of my store credit...it shall arrive in a few weeks. Some Lee, Kirby and Sterenko goodness! Can't wait! |
