I'm going to Indiana for two weeks, leaving Wednesday. Also going to Michigan for a few days. I decided to get a nice reprint collection to read on the plane and I got this: Marvel Masterworks: Thor, Volume Four, featuring Journey Into Mystery #121 to #126 and Thor #127 to #130. #125 to #130 is the storyline where Pluto tricks Hercules into becoming the Lord of Hell and Thor must go and fight the Hordes of Hell to save Hercules. This is my favorite Thor storyline of them all, but I haven't read it for a while because my Marvel Treasury Edition ended up in storage the last time I moved. And I've never read Journey Into Mystery #121 to #124 in any format.

Had some trade credit at Lonestar, in addition to the Sutekh retro Mego style figure (see toy latest acquisitions) I also picked up the Sword and Sorcery issue of Warren Presents... Possible NSFW content: {Click to show} Tor #2 magazine size issue from Marvel/Epic... and the Darwyn Cooke variant cover for Wonder Woman 37... -M

Not worth the time to take, save, and post a picture, but I did get a F+ copy of Fantastic Four #94 this past weekend from Half-Price Books. They were having their annual "week of coupons", and I got it for 40% off the sticker price. It's the first issue not currently collected in an omnibus, as the third FF Omnibus stops at #93, and since my plan is to pick up the three omnibi (omnibuses?) and finish the rest of the series in floppies, this seemed like a good place to start.
I'd also had them put aside a copy of Thor #168 for me (the cover, featuring Galactus, was still quite white and pretty, and the inside was pristine) for me to get with my 50%-off coupon, but they got a copy of A Feast for Crows in the store which I picked up instead with the discount, as I already had the comic in a Masterworks. Much as I love comics, getting a second copy of a story is less important to me than picking up a cheap hardback copy of a 500+ page book that I had intended to get at some point anyway.

For a few years now, I've been trying to assemble a full run of Master of Kung-Fu believing that Marvel would never reprint it (I understand that now they are doing precisely that. Oh, well. ). I returned to the antique store in Dahlonega today and picked up a dozen issues for a dollar a piece and now have an unbroken run spanning ( Special Marvel Edition) #15 through (MoKF) #100.

I've picked up a ton of stuff recently. On Saturday, I went to a local con and came home with a pile of stuff from the 50 cent boxes, including several isseues of Master of Kung Fu, Justice League of America, and The Further Adventures of Indiana Jones.
Today, I spent several hours going through a collection bequeathed to an old schoolmate of mine by her father. It was 18+ long boxes, mostly of 80's stuff. There were a lot of cool keys from the 80's like ASM #300, TMNT #3 and #4, etc., plus some more offbeat things, like the hard to find Dr. Strange Shamballah graphic novel.
As payment for my time, they let me take pretty much whatever I wanted. So I got a giant pile of stuff which includes issues of The Nam, Omaha the Cat Dancer, Xenozoic Tales, Vietnam Journal, Concrete, and more.
I also got several more Indiana Jones issues - in the last couple days I got #23-34 among others - plus another ton of JLoA issues; I'm just a couple short of the entire Detroit League run now.
I also picked up a bunch of 80's issues of both Comics Journal and Amazing Heroes, so there are tons of vintage interviews with industry legends for me to dig through, including Jack Kirby spotlight issues of both titles.
And I also got a bunch of totally bizarre indy books from the 80's for our weird and offbeat thread. There was a box of random indy stuff so obscure I had never even heard of half the comics in it, so I picked the ones that looks weirdest or dumbest for myself. I'll be posting more on those later.
Good times!

That sounds SOOO excellent
I did something similar for a friend about a year ago.
There were about a dozen nice early Amazing Spider-Man issues which he offered to give me.
I've got my own reading copies. His sister is a widow and her husband collected. I steered him towards mycomicsshop.com to sell them.
What I really love in your post are the Fantagraphics' The Comics Journal and Amazing Heroes issues. I love those !
