I'm seeing this first Punisher set from 1985 going for as high as $150 so my dealer acquired one below $40 in high grade and I nipped it as an extra. Glad to see Punisher getting some love in 2016, his new series started this year and #1 sold over 100,000 copies! I can't remember seeing that happen for previous volumes. Looks cool. The price rising is likely effected because of season 2 of Daredevil right?

Looks cool. The price rising is likely effected because of season 2 of Daredevil right? That, plus the new Punisher tv series due in 2017 on Netflix are some factors. Much like Wolverine's career in comics, this was Punisher's first star in his own title in a limited series, so it is getting the most attention with the price uptick.

Everyone laughed at Bruce for insisting on wearing two pairs of pants into the desert, but he sure showed them.

Double-whammy from me in 24 hours... I'm not a fan of McFarlane Spidey but this copy had 2 things going for it. 1...Green Goblin ...and 2... double-cover
I am not an expert at all on the double cover but I would imagine newer issues are harder to find? Newer meaning late 80's early 90's. Heck I don't know if I have seen a modern double cover. Mine is my Ms. Marvel 12. Its in the NM range for sure.

I have a question, don't know if you can help me or not though...I purchase quite a few books from Twomorrows in digital form, is it possible to get the physical copies if I already own the digital without having to pay the full amount?

I think the Don Heck and the Herb Trimpe are the ones I'd be particularly interested in.
Most recently myself, I picked up a few Marvel Comics Presents issues with a Black Panther story I hadn't known about until a little while ago by Don MacGregor, Gene Colan, and Tom Palmer.

Not that I'm aware of. I've never tried, but I don't see a way to do it.

It might be worth emailing them to ask, you never know.

I do not think an accidental double cover increases the value of the comic. But they are kind of neat when you come across them. I had a couple of comics with double covers a long time ago but can't remember which ones they were. I wonder if there are certain issues that commonly came with double covers or if it was just a random thing & was it mainly a Marvel thing?

I grabbed the first (only?) two Definitive Collection TPBs of Chaykin's American Flagg, the first Judge Dredd Complete Case Files, Donald/Scrooge The Sons of Sun (or something similar) HC, the most recent Avengers Epic, the two Moon Knight Epics and the Complete Captain Marvel by Starlin and the 42 issues of Back Issue I ordered during the sale arrived.
I was tempted to get those Buscema and Trimpe books Slam got, but I have been spending too much lately.
