My bad, I looked at the Daredevil back issue I bought its issue 153. It has a nice front cover of Mr Hyde and some other bad guy where they're against Daredevil.
Old stuff like that Id like to know what other old issues I should look into

Old stuff like that Id like to know what other old issues I should look into I used to have every issue of Daredevil from #1 to about #240. From that period you're talking about, Daredevil is pretty solid most of the time. From about #80 to about #125 is the period when Black Widow was guest-starring. There are some weird Gerber storylines that I like a lot, but they aren't everybody's cup o tea. Gerber starts about #100 and goes to about #117. I really like the Black Spectre storyline in DD #108 to #112. And the next story (#113 to #115) introduces the Death Stalker! And it's pretty good. There's a lot of good issues coming up, but probably the highlight of the next few years is the Jester storyline which is a subplot for several issues and then concludes in a crazy three-parter in #135 to #137. The next 20 issues are kind of uneven, with several artists - Gil Kane, Bob Brown, Steve Ditko, Gene Colan - all popping in. And then Frank Miller comes on as artist in #158.

Timing is everything in life:
I dropped off my car to get an oil change this morning, and my wife came by a little later to pick me up. As we drove home, I saw a posterboard sign by the side of the road advertising a garage sale, and at the bottom of the list of things available, it read "comic books". After dropping her off at the house, I drove up the road and found the house easily. There was a visible long box of comics there, with a guy slightly older than I looking through them. I sidled up next to him and saw him pulling out book after book, all Silver Age goodness: double-digit numbered Amazing Spider-Man, Avengers, Daredevil, and Fantastic Four issues, basically everything I would have bought for myself.
After he pulled out what he wanted, I asked if he was a big collector and he said, "no, these are for my grandkids." I asked how old they were and he told me they are "5 and 2" and that he was "putting these away in a box for them for when they're older". Needless to say, I nearly vomited in my mouth, watching all of these great old books that were going to be hidden away from the world for a decade or two with no one looking at them so his grandkids can one day have no interest in them and probably wind up selling them, if not just throwing them away.
Out of the books left in the box, the only thing I bought was an Amazing Spider-Man Annual #8 for $5 in at least F to F+ condition; this should give an idea of the kind of deals that were available, if only I'd been 10 minutes earlier.

Maybe he meant when they were old enough to read them and take care of them (say 8-10) ant older as in college to sell to pay for college -M

Well he did say Sandman 1-75 was in NM and no one grades digital comics, so I would guess at least those are physical comics. -M

I misplaced my phone and haven't gotten around to replacing it, so I'm unable to take pictures of any of these, but I've been busy over the last month or so. Since nobody in my real life gives a damn about comics, I figure I can at least share my purchases with people who might even care. Once again, sorry there are no pictures. I have recently purchased: Fantastic Four 2, 5, 10, 14, 15, 65, & 66 Need about 10 more to finish Hulk 180 & 181 Need 1-6 & 182 Amazing Spider-Man 8 & 18 Need 9, 17, & Annual 1 Flash 123 Still need a bunch of Flash Justice League Of America 2 Need 1, 4, 5, 9, 10 And I also got my ASM 1 back from restoration, signed by Stan Lee, and then CGC'd (it came back at 5.5, but it was really rough).
