I'm getting this for sure. Just ordered mine! Of course I found out yesterday that DC is releasing a new single volume omnibus hardcover collecting all of the Kirby Fourth World stuff later this year (Amazon pre-order lists mid-December)-all of New Gods, Mr. Miracle, Jimmy Olsen 7 Forever People, plus the new stories from the Baxter reprint series of New Gods and The Hunger Dogs OGN, so am having a little buyer's remorse having picked up the Mr Miracle trade (even thoug I have grooved to the issues I have read so far). -M

Omnibus... I'm tempted but I now have everything in it except the first half of the Jimmy Olsen run in some format or other (the Mr. Miracle trade the old Forever People trade in b&w, a trade of the second half of the Jimmy Olsen stuff, and the Millennium Edition of New Gods 1 plus the Baxter reprint series and a copy of the Hunger Dogs GN I picked up back in high school, one of the few books I have hung onto all these years through it all), so I am not sure I am willing to sink $100-$125 into the omnibus at this point. I used to have it all in original issues but I sold those off when the first trades (the b&w editions) came out in prep for my cross-country move at the time, I just never found the first Jimmy Olsen or first Mr. Miracle volumes to pick up to replace the issues. I just got the MM trade, so that's not an issue now, but unless there is a separate new edition of the Jimmy Olsen stuff I might be stuck choosing between an omni or shelling out for the old trade eventually. -M

What Caped Crusader said! I'd love to read that Captain Thunder story. And Action #419 is the first Human Target, an underrated series. What a lovely gesture, mrp!

To be fair, ICC sent me two of the Cerebus phone books a month or so ago, so when I decided I was culling a bunch of stuff I gave him first crack at what Thor and Bronze Age Supes stuff I was getting rid of because I knew he would get more enjoyment out of it than any of my dealer friends. -M

Well sure, when you offer shiny stuff to Icctrombone , the magpie of the CCF, his reaction is naturally gonna be priceless. Meanwhile, I can't find a single taker for my Marvel Premiere 15 with the "Value" stamp cut out.

You know I once saw a photo album with one each of all the value stamps cut out and stuck inside on the self-adhesive pages for sale at a convention. A lot of comics were mutilated for that album and the dealer wanted like $75 for it too. I wonder how many collector's cried at the site of it and their memories of books like your Marvel Premiere 15? -M

^ My Marvel Premiere #15 has the stamp! I consider that issue one of my most opportune buys as I could not justify paying $100+ for it now.
