Justice League of America #115 Contains, "The Last Angry God" Story ... one of my favorites. Got it from ebay, with a help of a friend.

I really love that Ron Marz run on Green Lantern. It was one of the first monthly books I ever had saved for me at a LCS. I really should get back to my review thread!

I pre-ordered the X-Men: Dissolution & Rebirth TPB which reprints Uncanny X-Men #248-267. I'm an X-Men completist through the first Claremont run, so I have just about everything in the TPB already. The one problem is that I only have #266 in the form of a one-shot that reprinted the first appearances of Gambit and Bishop. I didn't realize that the one-shot omits some pages from #266. Since that issues is prohibitively expense, it seemed it was cheaper to just get this TPB. Also, some of my copies of the issues are in so-so shape, so that's an added bonus.

Long while since I had a splurge so I squandered 21 of my hard earned quid on the complete run of French BD monthly anthology Gotham neatly bound into three hardbound volumes: Tank Girl - en français!

I went to Essington PA to a comic show and stayed overnight with my wife to make a mini vaca out of it. I ended up buying 106 comics, most of them 50 cents. These are the results. 55 Kyle Ryner era GL's

(...) I have always been intrigued by the covers of Planet Comics but buying individual issues to see if the content lives up to it is a bit cost prohibitive (...) Or you can always go to the Planet Comics page at the Digital Comic Museum and use the preview option to check out the content of individual issues.

That Superman #349 looks awesomely zany. It was a done in one where Superman arrives on Earth and the Genders of his friends and co workers have been reversed. Ripped from todays headlines , I guess.
