This is one I've found amusing since I first heard it a few years ago. Kind of an ADD Christmas.

I used to have a co-worker who would sing "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" on the last day she worked before the actual holiday. I was the only one who thought it was hilarious and I would always request it. I would say, "Hey, it's almost quitting time and you haven't sung "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas"!" And the rest of the workforce would stare daggers at me. Several years ago I had a co-worker who absolutely hated that song. So I played it frequently because his reaction to it was so hilarious. I told my family about it and my daughter got me a toy hippo for Christmas that year. I'm not sure I've ever heard any other version aside from my former co-worker singing it. I know the first time I heard her sing it, I had never heard it before (although it seems like something I should have heard on Dr. Demento; but it didn't ring a bell). I guess I could just check it out on YouTube if I was curious. If.

That, "I'm Getting Nuttin' For Christmas " and "All I Want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth." The last one was my favorite as I was missing my two front teeth at the time. None of them will appear on my list.

No Star Wars related songs made my list. And yes I did watch the Star Wars Holiday Special as a kid. I've even made it through the Special as an adult.

#21 I'll Be Home For Christmas (1943)
Of course, it's Bing.
This is how difficult this list was. I was shocked I had this song all the way down here.
Now I need to listen to a dozen different versions of #20 for tomorrow's post.
