#9 Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer (1949)
I'll play this again, because it is the best version...
My favorite scene from Will Vinton's Claymation Christmas Special is this one...
Bravo! Bravo! Carol of the Bells would rate an Honorable Mention, but this version is a classic

#8 Hark! The Herald Angels Sing (1739)
Sung by pretty much everyone in St. Paul's Cathedral (watch the conductor)
up next... the youngest song in the countdown

The Beatles - Christmas Time is Here AgainI just love this song! So underrated and such a great Xmas song. Having been originally tucked away on a 1967 Beatles' fan club flexi-disc single and out of print for nearly 30 years, until it was re-released on the B-side of the "Free As a Bird" reunion single in 1995, this song has sadly passed the masses by. Pity, because it's classic Beatles whimsy and good time vibes. Interestingly, it's the only song that The Beatles wrote or recorded in 1967 that had a rock 'n' roll-style, 12-bar blues chord progression (they'd largely eschewed that sort of thing at the time, what with their embracing of psychedelia).

My oldest brother who is 5 years older than me have a digital recording of "Free As a Bird" and he played it for me a couple days ago and while I was listening to it - I can catch the blues chord progression as you stated earlier and it's was a joy listening it to a better and far superior recording of it. It's very underrated and I just wanted to let you know that. Thanks for your heartfelt comments.
