I didnt do too well with the goals from last year so I am trying to make ot more simple this year.
Read: read my entire physical back log. This is not that bad. Only includes teen titans omnibus, 2 complete elf quests and about 30 issues of kitchen sink spirit issues. Only a coule will hopefully be added in the form of a couple of Marvel epics and some random stuff.
Buying: stick mostly to collected editions and not that many single issues with the exception of adding Sandman mystery theater and spirit issues if I happen to find som at descent prices.
Otherwise I am going to stick to digital for new stuff on marvel unlimited and amazon mostly. With a couple of comixology sales thrown in there too.

I guess when Trump talks about Norwegian people he doesn't hopefully mean people like Anders Breivik. Things have to be little bad if the translators are having issues translating because of the swearing/insults Trump is using and news don't know if to use the word or **** it out. www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-42656433But at least he not coming to the UK now (: or yet? ): www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-42657954Which is Obama fault or something for some reason. I doubt Trump has any idea who Breivik is. Also curious Søren where are you from. I am Danish thats whY I ask.

Just read The Secret of the Unicorn and Red Rackham's Treasure by Hergé for my Tintin review thread. They were every bit as good as I remember them being and are two of my absolute favourites from the series. Look for reviews of these books over in the Tintin thread soon. I read most of the tintin stuff as a kid from the library but had not read them for years until this summer where I went to the comics museum in Brussels and bought two collections that each had three tintin stories in them including the one with those two there and one which has my favorites when it comes to the art side: the two moon related stories. Good stuff

I am trying to set very concrete goals this year too. So this year my main goals are getting tid of things that I dont need, which mainly includes lots of old toys. A couple of years ago my parents had their roof/attic renovated so I got all my old toys and stuff which has just been setting around. Its mostly 80s and 90s stuff like transformers which are not extremely expensive but do has some resailability to them.
Healthwise I have a very simply goal: To loose weigh, about 10 KG, and to run more. This last year I ran a 5 Km race with me workplace and my goal is to get a better time this year which means loosing some weigh and train my back more so it does not hurt as much when running.

So for both christmas and my birthday I got a bunch of giftcards for a local electronnics chain. Originally I asked for this because I wanted to buy a good big coffe maschine but because I have a pretty big family, and becourse I turned 30, a lot of them decided to buy me that which is great but I still got a whole lot of giftscards to use. I think I am going to buy myself a switch and the new mario game.

So after what feels like a long time I am home and not traveling more for a while, Some of you might remember I live in Denmark. This christmas I went with my mom and stepdad to celebrate with my sister and her family in Norway which was great but does take about 9 hours tomget there and includes a 4 hours boat trip. Then after a couple of days there I went home and the next day I went to Copenhagen, about 3 hours in train, to spend some time with my dad and that side of the family. Both to see them here during the holidays but also becourse my birthday was on the 28th so I got to celebrate with them. I even got some comic related gifts in the form of The complete elfquest vol 3+4. All in all a pretty good week so far. And I still have yet to celebrate my birthday with my mom`s side yet which I will do next week. Hope you all has had as good a week as me.

I havent trained for quite a while now. I have just been to stressed out from work. Like others I am planning to start fresh come January. I simply dont have the energy to do it before hand. In the next two weeks I have a trip to Norway to celebrate Christmas with my family coming up, and right after that on december 28 is my 30th birthday so its a couple of weeks full full of celebration and family stuff.

Brings back a ton of memories but there are a couple of glaring omissions. Mainly Chrono Trigger, Sim City and Super Mario All-Stars off the top of my head (would’ve liked to see Zombies Ate My Neighbors included as well and a two player beat-‘em-up like Final Fight 3 or TMNT: Turtles in Time). Very nice! Yeah, for me it's TMNT Turtles in Time, Final Fight and Mortal Kombat (preferably 2). The lack both TMNT and a co-op beat-em-up is an egregious miss for an early 90s system, and Turtles in Time would have ticked both boxes. Super Mario All-Stars would be great, too, but maybe they thought it would compete with the NES Classic Mini (as if anyone can find one of those). Well atleast it is coming out again next year.

I never though we would reach a point in time where several countries and its leaders are openly laughing and shaking their head of what the american president is doing and the way he is behaving. All the way excusing it with “well crooked Hillary....” I can't speak for the rest of the world, but the UK shook its head and laughed at George W. Bush too. Of course, Trump makes W. Bush seem like Abraham Lincoln! Oh sure people in Denmark laughed too, like the time he nearly choked on a pretzle or something like that, but this is something completely different. That was once in a while laughs, but this is getting to be on a weekly basis. Sometimes more often then that even.

As I am not American I tend to stay outside of this thread but one thing keeps bothering me in this this and other threads like this on other sides: The consistent use of Tump supporters saying “but Hillary...”everytime Trump says or does something horrible. Everytime you say that instead of actually dealing with the trash your political leader does or says you are saying that its okay to act that way.

Thats cool man. I have my old SNES and a raspberry pie to play the games I dont have. I would buy the mini but the price for these are ridicules here in Denmark. The NES classic was 699kr. A normal new AAA game is usually about 500-600kr so that was a pretty good price for the mini. But the SNES classic is 1299kr. Thats way to big a price rise for me to want to consider buying it. Ah, that sucks that it's so expensive. Yeah, I thought it was a good deal for what it was at $80USD, but I refused to pay scalper markups for it so waited until I found it. Its great you got one. The stupid thing is that this isnt even like this is scalpers who are asking this price but normal retail stores. Its ridicules.

By sheer dumb luck, I snagged a SNES Classic mini. I've been popping into stores and asking if/when they had them figuring statistically I might get lucky one of these times. I finally did, but I was so conditioned for that no response the clerk had to repeat themselves 3 times that they did in fact have them. While a stranger might have questioned my cognitive or language skills, I did at least get one. It really is a good value for what it costs, and I was pleasantly surprised it came with two controllers. It's so small! I would also be remiss if I didn't acknowledge there are some glaring omissions for an accurate 90s-kid-SNES-experience, at least for me. TMNT Turtles in Time, Final Fight and Mortal Kombat (preferably 2) would have been more accurate and more or less ensured all of the major boxes were ticked partially if not fully. Thats cool man. I played a bit of BotW last night, and if you got the DLC package initially there's a new side quest with bonus stuff in it for those that may want to check it out. I havent bought the DLC because I played the game on my wii u. I know I am buying a switch at some point and by the time I feel like playing the game again I am going to rebuy it on that to so I am waiting with playing the extra DLC stuff until then. otherwise I have been playing Streem world dig 2. Its a pretty fun game. Although it is pretty easy to play through.

I have been reading one of the Spider-man Epics (The Goblins last stand)Which as you might have guessed contains all the issues leading up to Gwen´s death. Right now I have about 6 or so issues left in it. I am really enjoying it but a lot of these issues I read not that long ago in Essential version. After this one I am moving on to the next one which I am really looking forward to: Spider-man epic: Kravens last hunt. I love those early '70s Gerry Conway issues of ASM a lot too. Oh, and Kraven's Last Hunt is also really good. It made a hell of an impression on me as a 14 year old when it came out. Yeah they are. The whole plotline with the political candidate did go on a little bit long for my taste but in general its been fun. I am looking forward to the next epic too. I have read Kraven`s Last hunt plenty of times and I like every time, but there are also some issues in it where its been years since I read last time and in some cases looking through there are some I dont remember at all. I dont know if I actually have read all these or not but if I have I clearly dont remember.
