This one is up there. Absolute garbage wrapped in a Dave Johnson cover.

Waid and Samnee are doing a still unannounced series after SW, so I'll check that out. Aren't they going to do Black Widow, or is that still just a rumor? Still a rumor, as far as I know. According to the back matter in the last issue of DD, their next book was still unannounced.

I've never been a fan of the art from the Empire and Jedi adaptations. The illustrations are of a high quality, but they look like isolated film stills. They never really mesh to create a narrative.
A lot of that, in my opinion, looks like it came from Lucasfilm and Fox. They had a huge movie coming out and they wanted the comic to look as much like it as possible. Having to either omit or obscure a lot of the most memorable scenes to avoid spoiling them didn't help either.

The DCAU versions of most DC characters are "my" versions. Dini, Timm and co. had a real knack for boiling 60+ years of stories into timeless, iconic representations of the DC characters that still feel as current today as they did 20 years ago.

I'd lose my mind if Blue Beetle and the Question made it to the screen.

These reviews are great. I'm a huge fan of this series, especially the Goodwin-Infantino stuff with the Tagge family.

I'm going through this right now, too. I look at it like this: Take anything that would be 50¢ bin fodder at the LCS that you think someone might want and put it on EBay. Try to sell it in lots if at all possible.
If you think you can get more for it because of an upcoming movie, TV show or whatever, hold onto it and sell it when you think you'll be able to make the best sale.
If it's crap that you think nobody will want, list it for next to nothing. If nobody bites, take it someplace like Half Price Books and let them figure out what to do with it.

I think a FF movie set in the present day makes perfect sense. NASA might not be what it once was, but look at everything that's happening with private space flight. We have guys like Elon Musk and Richard Branson sending up their own shuttles right now, and Hollywood acts like Reed Richards building his own rocket is some absurd idea. The real world is finally catching up to the Fantastic Four and nobody is capitalizing on it.

I'm enjoying Old Man Logan quite a bit. I've always thought that Wolverine was one of the characters Bendis has a better handle on and Sorrentino is fantastic.
