Darren Cross reminded me a lot of Stane from the first Iron Man. He actually had some motivation to do the things he did. My biggest criticism of Marvel Studios is that a lot of their villains come off as very shallow and forgettable. They've been better lately, so I'm glad they're keeping it up.

I really liked it! Rudd, Lilly, and Douglas had great chemistry and the jokes all landed. I could have done without the "guest appearance," but that's a minor gripe.

Uncanny feels like it's only 2/3 of the way through its story. The twists of Xavier's marriage and Cyclops revealing the real reason for his "revolution" felt like setup for another six months to a year's worth of issues. I have to wonder if Bendis was forced to wrap things up early because of Secret Wars and the ANAD Marvel relaunch.

I've always been a fan of Earth-2 Superman versus the Anti-Monitor from COIE. You have Superman at his strongest and a being that destroys universes throwing planets at each other. What's not to love?

Watching the Pittsburgh-KC game and hoping the Pirates don't fart all over this series like they did in Milwaukee.

As an educator, I'm not a fan. She has too many ties to Pearson, common core and charter schools.

I just finished putting together a full run of the O5 issues. I love this series. The melodrama runs so deep. I've read up to Inferno so far.

It's wild to think that Archie has become one of the most exciting publishers of the modern era while the big two spin their wheels.

I'm 15 questions into writing a 25 question quiz for my class tomorrow night. I'm allowing myself to be distracted by EBay instead of finishing up.

I just don't get.... He was big in the 1990s...but...his art just never agreed with me. LOL. The question is.. are there people out there that DID like his art in the 90s, or was he just really good at hype and marketing? I was a kid when he was at the height of his career and I liked his work. Now, I teach art and I appreciate his enthusiasm.

Batman getting his head kicked in by a middle aged orderly in flip flops will always be one of my favorite images.

I was hoping they would hold out on Elektra for awhile, but I'm not going to complain. I'm hoping we get to see a proper take on the Owl soon. The set up is there, so hopefully it pays off.
