Choices locked into place. No drafts as I prefer putting my thoughts in order as I'm writing up my posts. Cannot wait for seeing the various member choices.

Hey Confessor, your gain is our loss. I just don't see you posting as much as the past. Well, the bright side is that I don't have to see green rabbits in my nightmare as much... A few celebratory holiday drinks will remedy that. Soon you will see plenty of dancing green rabbits! Singing holiday ditties as well echoing in your spinning head.

Special Missions was an amazing companion series for the Joe's. Much more "mature" storylines while focusing on lesser used or not as popular characters. I collected a few Action Force here when my LCS was able to order them. Had the 1st 10 or so issues but sadly dropped it when my financial priorities shifted (as they often do) at the time.

All, just wanted to back in here and say hello as I've been away for awhile. My apologies for going MIA for a bit, I won't go into anything dramatic but just had to go offline for a bit, all is well at this point and I'm looking forward to jumping back in and catching up. In my short time here earlier this year, I felt like this was a great group, and thank you for those who reached out checking in to see if things were OK. You might say: FOUND: One lost Supercat Dang alley cat's wandering in and out, yowling at the moon, chasing tail, always disappearing to return with a few more scratches and scars looking for free bowls of food and water. Welcome back 😉

Sounding like a Charlton romance comic relaunch to me. I married a Baroness but my kisses tasted like cold steel to her. He commanded my love like a Cobra in the night. My love for the twin brothers was doomed from the start. My silent love for the scarlet woman left me scarred for life. My late night swamp date was just a masquerade hiding the many faces of my lover. He was a Raptor flying away with my heart. The storm of his shadow haunted my dreams like a ninja in the night. He was a tunnel rat after my money, not my love.

(...) I don't have time to fart until the end of next week, at least! (...) Be that as it may, I'd nonetheless suggest finding a little time for that... True. That fart could easily turn to a shart, likely in the middle of your Christmas Eve rendition of Deck the Halls... Though the smell might come in handy as you sing You're a mean one Mr. Grinch.

Obviously the sender has great taste. More obvious that all the decades of egg nog and cookies has melted Santa's brain.

Well, I’d heard it was John Byrne writing it and Erik Larsen drawing it. Or maybe that was just a dream… You need to watch that eating spoiled leftovers so late before bedtime!

Just saw from ClownfishTV on Youtube there is a highly confirmed RUMOR that Image has gotten the Hasbro contract. That could be good news for us fans. Update on this. CBR reports it is Robert Kirkman's Skybound Entertainment rhat is bidding to get the Hasbro contract. Article also notes the soonest a new publisher could have books out is early 2023.

Another punch to the heart. Grew up with the Monkee's show. Enjoying their music all throughout my life always providing a smile in otherwise dreary days. This month truly bites!

Watched 1942's My Gal Sal featuring Rita Hayworth and Victor Mature. Thoroughly enjoyable and colorful musical full of stylish designs and costuming along with the fun of watching Hayworth/Mature flirt, fight, romance and being stunning together.

I absolutely love that in 2021 I can find and experience the pleasures of classic comics from before I was born in 1962. Comics that are capsules of time captured in their style and tone showing me a world I never knew.

Another great artist gone. I have quite a few of Achilleos art books. Became a fan back in the early 80's with a calendar I bought. From there I was on the look out for his artistry. The years are slowly taking away all my favorite creators. Glad to know and admire their creativity through my collections where they will live forever in my heart.

Those are some sweet pickups @slam_Bradley! Both are on my list for later this year if the new job goes well and I remain employed and able to splurge on comic books again.

Taxes? We don't need no steenkin' tax. This is fantasy comic booking after all. A pax on your tax Shax! That 4 cents is penny candy, gum or savings towards more comics! Get your head in the game young man. Quit thinking like those dang grown up's stuck with the dismal reality of working!
