And I think it should be about the covers and that they should "speak" for themselves. Art is subjective and honestly anything a poster says about the cover is going to make me less likely to vote for it than to vote for it if it doesn't vibe with how the cover speaks to me itself. Anything the poster says beyond its source and artist will only taint my impression of the cover with their bias, not mine. If it becomes about campaigning for the covers rather than the covers themselves, it's a whole lot less appealing to me. But as always, the majority should decide. I do agree covers should speak for themselves but I was thinking more about how it pertains to said topic and not necessarily about art style or artist.

This week all of them are going to be obvious. The one that is not, will get my vote. Along those lines I started thinking that to add a new wrinkle to this contest Each week posters can add something about the cover as to why it should be chosen as winner for the cover contest Just a thought.

Great topic. Hulk 300. Hulk is rampaging so hard that it ended up having him sent to a different dimension to cool off. A dimension corner if you will.

The Thing at 500 lbs seems to light. I think the Hulk changes size with each artist. Steranko's Hulk was at least 9 ft tall. Does Hulk’s measurements change also when he is angry or just his strength?

Here's an image that was on the net. Somehow I've always thought that Hulk was larger, more massive than Ben. He's barely that here and I find it off-putting. Speaking of Byrne & non-canon stories & 'Old Superman', I've never read any of his Generations minis with Superman & Batman aging in real time. Were any of those good? I’ve always thought Hulk was like a ft taller than Ben and at least 65lb heavier.

He certainly could have during his FF run. Maybe he intended to do it when he took over the Hulk title. Too bad he left in one of his tantrum's before he could. I was definitely thinking about his FF run. Good point about Hulk.

With 60 or so meetings of the Thing and the Hulk over the years it literally just occurred to me Byrne had never done his version of this classic battle

I think I would like an ongoing title that has stories about romance with just the superheroes of Marvel or DC. I like this idea. Or how about supervillains raising their families but not in a humorous way.
