This is the issue when i knew that Classic Avengers was done. Wanda in a butt shot. And Clint seems to have really been hitting the steroids!

There's no denying Liefeld's impact on the comics industry for a good (or bad) decade

The ultimate cat fight. But to be fair, I would have bought it for the Bolland cover. Wonder Woman #95

I've bought some Cavewoman for the covers... I have as well. I love Budd's art Me too. I'm torn on it at times; he obviously exaggerates for certain...effect...but his anatomy and rendering are good, the women don't look deformed or alien, and the faces are sweet. And he can clearly draw other stuff just as well. I was always a little disappointed that many of the interior pages were of a rougher nature, as if he got tired of putting so much work into it partway through.

I haven't paged through any of my many Cavewoman books recently, so I don't recall an lapse in the interior art but I have noticed it in other works and artists that have a strong hand with anatomy and detail. For me, with Budd's art, I like that his gals are equally proportionate even if all the proportions are exaggerated. In other words, Cavewoman's entire frame is built to for that size chest. She's no hourglass, she's a brick house.

A-freaking-men. Yeah, but do these comics have any redeeming value or is it just w**king material? These are a fun homage to the old jungle adventure, featuring lots of fights between a good-looking, fur-bikini clad heroine and her loyal giant ape and dinosaurs. And there is some interesting interplay between Miriam and the people of the time-displaced town of Marshville, which shows the trials of ordinary people suddenly being trapped in a primeval world. So definitely more than w**k material. The pin-up books, on the other hand...
