I'd like to thank Fred Ray for creating last week's winning entry, Superman #14. This week's contest will be to choose a cover from my all time favorite cover artist. Neal Adams! Yes, easy covers to find, really difficult to choose just one entry and impossible to cast a vote! Just like last week. Contest Rules Send the Neal Adams covered comic to... Neal Adams Cover Contest Attn: Action Ace RR 1200 E Smallville USA All comics become property of Action Ace Longboxes Inc. a subsidiary of Lexcorp. OOOOPS! I've been informed by the owners that this contest is on the internet only and that my pathetic scheme will never work. So here are the real rules. Contest Rules -Post one, and only one, classic cover that fits the theme of the contest. -Cover must be from a published comic book or collected volume published before Jan 1 2004 (this is a classics comic forum and we voted 10 years as the unofficial standard for being a classic). -Covers must be posted before voting begins. -Voting runs from 12 AM PST Tuesday until 12 AM Wednesday PST. -Vote by posting the name of the poster whose cover best fits the theme or that you simply like the most. Put the name in bold. -The winner of the contest is the entrant with the most votes after the voting period ends. The winner chooses the theme for the next week's contest. -If you don't think the cover fits the theme, don't vote for it, don't post disparaging remarks about it. If a cover is more recent that the Classic time frame, kindly point it out and the poster can choose an alternate before voting begins. -Have fun!

Attachment DeletedA classic mix of horror and Batman...two genres/titles that Adams always manages to do to perfection.

this is going to be one of those weeks where every time someone posts a cover I am going to do a V-8 headsmack and go "why didn't I think of that?" I will forward my hospital bills for concussion testing to all of y'all...

Pick 7 Neal Adams covers of your choice and the set of 7 with the most votes will be crowned the winner.

Slam,
Yeah, that's a great cover AND a great story. I re-read it not too long ago in one of the reprint volumes for the 1970s revival of the JSA.
I totally forgot it was Neal Adams.
(I'm surprised no X-Men covers have popped up thus far.)
