Is there anything on the horizon for Danger Girl? I picked up these sets and quite enjoyed them and bought the Image/Cliff Hanger series too.

Jez, I'm sure IDW has more Danger Girl stuff down the line. I'm enjoying the new series. Royle's artwork is keen and from the school of Campbell. I'd like to see it all traded up in a nice HC or something.

I hope Jonah Hex is relaunched in Jonah Hex or even Weird Western Tales...

The only DC books I get now are Vertigo-Astro City and Sandman Overture. Trillium was good and I may pick up Coffin Hill on trade as I liked the first couple but had to trim back on some monthlies. I am considering the new Star Spangled War Stories by Palmiotti and Gray, as I am betting it will only be a 7 or 8 issue run, but not sure yet.
There were rumblings of a Wonder Woman book in ths style of Adventures of Superman and Legends of the Dark Knight that I might check out as well.
If they did another series like Joe Kubert Presents of the Batman Black and White mini, I would be on board too, but anything with ties to new52 continuity has pretty much zero interest for me. Green Arrow and All Star Western were the last hangers on of that batch, as was therStarlin iteration of Stormwatch, but even as a huge Starlin fan it wasn't worth getting any longer.

My only DC right now is all in trades: Wonder Woman (for as long as they have the Azarello/Chiang team) and the Unwritten (which I was kinda losing interest in, but I have a lot of faith in Carey and the series started out very storng). I'll pick up Sandman in trades as well.

The DC solicits made me kinda sad... I think that'll be the first time where I'm buying monthly, but will get nothing in the mainstream DCU (Maybe Titans...we'll see).
I'm trade waiting (both for content and shipping schedule) on the weeklies, but I may get Future's End or Batman Eternal. No interest in much of the rest.
I WAS excited for Multiversity, but after the crapfest of Justice League 3000, I'm feeling less excited about it.. I'll probably still get it but I'm less excited.

It's called Sensation Comics, and the first issue (arc?) is by Gail Simone and Ethan Van Sciver.
I'd recommend Federal Bureau of Physics from Vertigo. Hinterkind is pretty good, too.

I struggle with Green Lantern and Green Lantern Corp. every month. I want to like the books but nothing happens on a monthly basis. They've done nothing with Hal as the head of the GLC.

I read the first few issues of Collider/FBP and Hinterkind. They were both good concepts and of good quality, but felt unsatisfying in monthly installments though, so I put them in my to check out later as trades list, to see how they read in larger chunks. -M

FBP is one of my favorite comics at the moment, so I try to pimp it whenever possible. It could use the sales.
Hinterkind is interesting in that it seems to improve by the issue. I thought the first two issues were fairly mediocre, but every issue since has been an improvement over the one before it. I've become a big Ian Edgington fan because of his pseudo-historical sci-fi/horror work for 2000AD (Stckleback, Leviathan, The Red Seas, etc), so I really want this book to find itself and become a big hit (or at least a hit by Vertigo standards),

I've been reading GLC some, but I agree it's way too slow... this current story with the Durlans will be it for me. I had no idea Hal was supposed to be the head of the Corps... since in the comic it seems like John Stewart is... that's pretty crazy.

Yeah. He decided after Blackout that they need to police use of the emotional spectrum. So they've been running around acting like giant hypocrites and being unlikable in general. Kilowog is also doing Salaak's job.

Finally got an order of new comics in. It's been over four months! And I'd still be waiting if I hadn't bought some Life With Archie back issues. Going to catch up on Walking Dead tonight.

Read a couple Image trades today... Zero and Carbon Grey. Both were a little too over the top on the gratitutious violence for my taste.. Carbon Grey is a great premise, but they fail to use it very effectively... I could see it getting good though. Zero was pretty meh... nothing to set it apart from any other near-future spy stuff.

A lot of people slam on DCnU, and it's been rough, but it feels like they're hitting a pretty good stride. I like most of what I've read, but have put Marvel money in indies.
Anxious to see what happens next spring.
