I'd go as far as saying that this is the best adaptation of Daredevil and don't think it could be portrayed any better than this. I'm really looking forward to Season 2 with Jon Bernthal as The Punisher!

Just finished Daredevil on Netflix and I truly enjoyed it. The actors are great and interact well. Wilson Fisk was beyond brutal. I hope Karen doesn't go the route she did in the comics. I do hope that Rosario Dawson's character returns in season 2. Also nice how Matt takes a beating and isn't all healed up by the next episode. I thought that was a nice touch showing that despite his abilities, he's not like Thor or Superman. The interactions between Matt, Foggy, and Karen are good and I hope they build up those relationships in season 2. Looking forward to seeing the Punisher show up too.

Finally got around to seeing this series (due to being sick and crashing on my brother's (who does have Netflix) couch for a week. (Also gave me a chance to see Sense8 and the last season of Arrested Development. Last one was a disappointment though).
Really good series, especially the work on Kingpin. The casting was great, the way most storylines advanced the characters of at least 2 characters.

I just finally finished the last few episodes, too. This was REALLY good. I haven't really read any Daredevil, so I don't know how it all goes in the comics, but I was NOT expecting Ben Urich to die! I figured he'd be around for a while like he was in the comics, so that caught me off guard. Well cast and acted all around, and the fight scenes were really good. |

The finale with Kingpin (Wilson Fisk) versus Daredevil was phenomenal!!! I liked how they portrayed Vanessa, she loved this fat goof ball & believed in him no matter how evil and misguided his intentions were! I guess love is blind???

Finally got around to watching the first 2 episodes. 1 was very good. Didn't like 2 as much. A couple of scenes were a little too close to scenes from Nolan's Batman (waterfront fight and 'where is he!'). Episode 2 seemed darker than was necessary.
I think the fight scenes are overdone, but the lawyer stuff is great.

Personally I thought Daredevil on Netflix was the best comic book TV adaptation so far, marginally better than the first season of Arrow. Although as I have a stack of old Daredevil comics from the 70's, I am probably a bit biased. But it really was good to watch, with great casting. I am eagerly awaiting the second season now...

Finished the season. Still don't care much for the fight scenes and find it too similar to Nolan's Batman in some of the 'mask' scences, but otherwise it was great. A good cast, probably the best interpretation of Fisk I've seen.

One of my buddies is a low level production assistant on the show.
His words of wisdom?
Jon Bernthal is supposedly AMAZING as the Punisher (which would support the internet rumors of the rumored cancellaton of the Iron Fist series and intro of a Punisher series leading up to The Defenders) and I guess the girl (forgot her name) does a bang-up job as Elektra.
Seriously can't wait for this.
This is shaping up to be an awesome year for the MCU.
