They're definitely incorporating the rooftop scene from 'Welcome Back, Frank' And judging by this leaked promo pic, it looks like Jon Bernthal will definitely be sporting the skull insignia at some point.  |

Drawing from Ennis makes me a happy man. And if that is indeed the skull on his chest then visually we might have the most perfect Punisher ever.

Yeah, I've heard some people say that Bernthal looks too small but to me that's nitpicking. If you wanted to cast some Mike Zeck-esque Punisher, then short of getting someone like Schwarzenegger in his prime, I'm not sure how it's feasible. You'd be talking about a guy at least 6'2 250 made of solid muscle. And you can't just cast some modern day body builder as Frank. The guy has to have the acting chops to pull it off, which Bernthal certainly does. |

There was an article posted somewhere stating that Bernthal's portrayal of Frank is like a cross between Travis Bickle in Taxi Driver and Arnold in the first Terminator movie. Judging by the trailer, that seems spot on. I love it |

Spoke to the same friend of mine who is a production assistant on the show...
Assures me that a Netflix Punisher series starring Jon Bernthal is essentially a formality.
He knows I'm a huge Punisher fan and told me, and I quote...
"Looks like Frank's story is finally going to get the justice it deserves".
Hyped, folks.
As if you didn't know already.
