Just a general question - what do you guys think about doing cinnamon to coffee? Does it add too many calories? What about trail mix, too much sugar? I am stalling and I added those two things.

Cinnamon to Coffee
Cinnamon to Coffee is an excellent way to start in the morning, I started that a couple months ago - taking out Cream and Sugar to Cinnamon ... read the link that I provided for you and you'll be amazed how good it is.

I lost 1.2 since last week. Did some poor eating this past weekend so I'm glad to get any loss. My plan is to roll in some serious exercise starting this week. I already lifted weights this morning.

after a week of cake and eating out (birthday week blew a huge hole in my diet), I actually *did* get back on the scale on Monday. . and wasn't thrilled with the result. . I gained 3 lbs.
but all in all, not too bad, i suppose.
so as of Monday morning, I was 187.8#
so up a few lbs, and overall up ~13lbs from my lowest.
but still over 10lbs below 200, so I suppose I'm ok w/ that. tho I really, really want to be closer to 180 for my trip to Cedar Point in about a month.

Today, I went swimming for the first time in nearly over a month since my left knee got injured. I had to swim today in preparation of my match next Wednesday for the best of 3 for the Championship. I swam a mile and a half, slowly and maturely getting in some water time with the waterproof knee caps in both of my knees and get a general feel of them. My coach and couple other teammates were there and they wanted to see me swim too.
It's took me a little more than a hour to do so and I'm about 80 percent of my old self. My coach said to me, you were a tad slower but hasn't missed a beat. I'll probably play a half of a match on Wednesday and I'm cleared to go and they were all surprised to see me back so soon.
I gain two pounds going up to 252 since last time I weigh myself - that was two weeks ago.
I'm going back to Swimming on Monday to get my strength back and speed again ... I will be wearing the knee brace as well; and my Doctor advises me to wear those waterproof knee braces for all my future events of which for the Championship and next season as well.
Anyway, it felt good to swim again and on my way to normalcy.
That's all I have for now.

Regarding cinnamon, one tsp has 6 calories, which are mostly fiber and no fat. If you are adding cinnamon at the exclusive of milk and cream, then you are consuming fewer calories. I drink close to a gallon of coffee everyday. I do not add milk, cream, or sugar, I just drink coffee that tastes good, like French Roast, Italian Roast, Sumatra, etc. The best way to avoid adding calories to coffee is to just drink coffee on its own.

so. . yeah.
I needed it, and it had been a rough-ish week too. . had a trigger on Thursday about Mom, that sent me into a food tailspin. *DID* go for my walk today, and tried to get back on plan. but avoiding the scale.

I lost 5 pounds this week mostly by staying away from binging on the weekend. It's a total of 11 pounds dropped so far.

Still no progress on the weight, but I've had another go at restarting the gym - this time taking it sensibly with lower weight and lower reps this week. On the bike, I'm starting to increase mileage and roam a bit further afield, and tackle some hillier terrain.

1st Match, Championship ... We won 8 to 6, next game is on Friday, if we win that game our Championship is ours. Scored a goal and assisted on two others for my return match in little more a (layoff) month. Play 2nd and 4th quarters.

We won our match today, and now we are Champions in the 2nd year of Water Polo Play in this League. This League been around in it's 2nd year and we won by a score of 11 to 9. I scored 2 goals and assisted on 2 other goals as well. I was named Co-MVP (6, Center) along with my Right (5) Wing Man he and I were great and we were clicking on all corners and led the way for our 2nd and final match of the year. I played 3 quarters and my Left Knee is okay and lost a pound and half down to 250.5. We are having our Victory Dinner tonight to celebrate our Championship!

I was worried that I was in the 190's, but actually despite not eating all that great for 2 weeks, I weighed exactly the same as 2 weeks ago: 187.8 lbs. so no loss, but no gain. I suppose that's a win. tho my dream of being closer to 180 on my trip isn't going to happen, since I go in 2 1/2 weeks.
