I'm proud to post that today I woke up and was 196.4 !!!!! Last Saturday was my High School reunion weekend and it was essentially a lost food weekend, but I was able to start fresh Monday and I ended up losing 2.8 pounds.
4-18-17 217.8 4-25-17 213 5-2-17. 211.8 5-9-17. 206.8 5-16-17 205 5-23-17 201.8 5-30-17 202.2 6-3-17 199.6 6-9-17 199.2 6-16-17 196.4
This makes it a 21.4 pound loss. This is the lightest I've been since 2012.

Just back from a break - having managed to gain 7 pounds in 9 days. Which is not really what I was looking for, though in the circumstances, not as bad as it could have been. Diet control back on, bike back out on the road today - let's see if it comes off as fast as it went on! I just spent a week in Cedar Point eating tons of crappy food. I'm sore from all the walking we did (that's a HUGE amusement park). . .but yeah, don't think I lost anything. back on my diet/exercise plan on Monday -- fresh week, fresh start. wasn't able to get back on plan.. .walked right into work buzzsaw of stress, and just haven't had time. haven't been eating all that great either.. so even tho I didn't eat too bad during my trip, I haven't started getting back on my exercise. Weighed myself this morning, and was: 187.6so I gained ~3 1/2 lbs in the past 2 weeks. but I will get back on my plan.. just need to make time again.

Hang in their @bert ... Just focus! I'm at 249 now and I been running around like beavers and haven't had the time to visit my gym and got back weighing myself and haven't done it for a month or so. Spending a lot of time with my brother and taking care of running my clubs and I need to lose about 9 pounds by July 31st. I'm back at the Gym ... doing the Bike, Indoor Track, and Swimming.

Greetings all. My weight has been all over the place recently - well and truly fell off the wagon on honeymoon, and recently got as high as 178 (+8 pounds in 2 days!), then dropped back to 171.something, with 2 pounds coming off per day. Madness. Have now stabilised around 171 and having another attempt at taking some weight off. Cycling is going pretty well - just gone over the 2000 miles mark for this year. Gym not doing so well, but have restarted with a couple of sessions this week, which will hopefully be enough to get the habit going again.
It's been a while - how y'all doing?

Gained 1.2 pounds. I drank some vodka over last weekend and it probably short circuited my weight loss. I'm not gonna let it bum me out. I'm still looking to get to 180.

I'm still at 249 pounds and I'm trying to get down to 240 by end of this month and I'm probably won't get there and I just got back from the gym and swam two miles today to keep myself in shape for Water Polo. Our 3rd Year, will get started in September and looking forward to it. Nice to have you back @simongarth and thanks for filling in! Icctrombone, hang in there and I know that you can get to 180!

4-18-17 217.8 5-16-17 205 6-16-17 196.4 6-27-17 195.4
Total pounds loss are 22.4. I'm going in the right direction and feel pretty good. I'm having problems motivating myself to lift weights 3 times a week, which I sorely need. My arms are beginning to look like spaghetti.

Good stuff 'bone. As for me, this week I have (a) cycled 123 miles, (b) partly as a result, dragged myself back down to 170 pounds (though, pizza tonight, so not sure how close to that I'll be tomorrow, and (c) stayed on the wagon with the gym, finally getting in a full week of 3 sessions as planned.
On the minus side, I was planning to ride 100K tomorrow, and I'm just not feeling it - I'm tired and it looks like it's going to be pretty windy, so I probably going to wuss out of that.

Today was 1st day back on full weights in the gym (still on reduced reps). My, that wasn't at all challenging! Got through OK, but definitely dropped some strength in the layoff

I'm way off wagon. can tell i've put weight back on. . just lots of "life" happening at the moment (work is nuts, got some medical stuff going on -- i'm sure exacerbated by stress (both work, and Dad)). so yeah. . still avoiding the scale. but I can tell I've gained between 10-15 back. . I'm in a comfortable 36 waist again, instead of 34 just need to make the time, find a way, to get back on plan.

^ did weigh myself on Sat, and came in at 185.8#. . so actually way better than I was expecting. (of course haven't been eating much, nor exercising at all due to the amount of work, and the aforementioned medical stuff going on). but still. . that's only ~11 lbs higher than my lowest, and 2 lbs less than in mid June. so I'll take it

I came back from my vacation to Jerusalem last Saturday. Before I left, I was 194.4 and I usually gain 5 pounds whenever I take a week off. I didn't have the courage to weigh myself until today ( and two days of decompressing/ eating normally) but I'm happy to report that I'm .4 pounds less than when I left.
7-8-17 194.4 7-19-17 194
That makes it from 217.8- 194, Which is 23.8 pounds loss. It's all a journey , and a slow one at that but I'm happy I didn't balloon up past 200 eating bread and sugar away from home.

Last week felt under the weather and wussed out of weights. This week, the reason for that became apparent as I've been coughing my guts up and not feeling well enough to do weights. Bizarrely, this hasn't affected my cycling at all - cough in the run up to it, get on the bike work hard and only rarely cough, get off it and start coughing my guts up again.
On the bright side, weight it coming down slowly, after a period of being stuck around 176-176 and not being terribly good with the calorie watching, I'm now down to 171.something and still dropping.
