Haven't weighed since last week. . but I did exercise:
Tues 40 minutes (walk) Thurs: 1 hour (25 minutes on treadmill at work, 35 minute walk later) Sat: 55 minute (walk)
so trying to build back up to the 1:20 minute walks I was doing, and staying on schedule.
still hoping to lose 7-10lbs by the time I head out for Dragon*con on the 31st.
(really, ending up being able to go to Dragon*con was the kick I needed. .it gave me a goal to work towards and got me "back on the horse")

A deadline is huge, it's what got me from 217-199 for my HS reunion.

Trying not to be discouraged. although I hurt my shoulder (tear in tendon. . not sure how bad, but painful as all hell) last Monday, I've still be doing my almost daily 1-hour plus walks. So was shocked when I got on scale and saw that I gained almost 4 lbs since last Tues So at 191# this morning. I couldn't figure it out. . maybe the pain meds are retaining water? but in thinking about it, I'm still a stress eater. I hurt myself on Monday evening. on Tues; Sonic fast food for dinner (even tho I had chicken, it's still fast food, and there were fries and soda) on Thurs: after MRI, Chinese Buffet for lunch on Friday: Pizza for Dinner on Sat: leftover Pizza for lunch, and then Mexican food for dinner (lots of chips and queso too). So yeah. . haven't been eating healthy, even with mixing in salads, fruit and low fat things, and avoiding alcohol and sodas still. . . and I *did* get dressed and do a 70 minute walk after weighing myself, so workout is priority over working, so at least I did that. But yeah. .trying not to be discouraged

You will see a drop in weight quickly. Sorry about the shoulder.

I am now 69 days under 200. It's a big deal to me. I'm now 188.8 from my low of 187.4 but I find I'm relaxing too much and slacking off of cooking my meals. I still want to get to 180. Seriously , I feel like a recovering addict trying to stay away from 200!

So I havent really checked my weight in a while but I did have something I wanted to share, Today I ran a 5 km run together with my collegues from work. It was pretty darn hard for my. Mostly on my back. I did it in an okay time but most of all it kind of showed me that I can do this kind of stuff. Although I will have to work more on training my back.

went to my Orthopedic Dr this morning for my shoulder. . . 195# on their scale.
ate lunch with my hubby (who went with me to the ortho appt), and then went to my Primary Care Dr. for physical: 199#
I DID NOT GAIN 4 LBs FROM LUNCH!
yeah. . . that's why i'm trying not to let the scale get to me. . tho my home scale weighing 191# yesterday really did upset me.
